Hello all, the title says it all. . . (I think its death wing, the one thats all terminators)

I currently have played against these two armies over a dozen times each, and haven't come close to winning yet.  I have major issues with the Terminator force, (I don't have any las-cannons only Missile Launchers)

But the grey knights, I can actually play with a chance of winning.  He has maxed out on the number of Psi Cannons, and has 1 Terminator Command Squad, and 3 terminator squads, and 2 or 3 GK squads, and 1 GK Dreadnaught. . .

He normally deploys rather spread out and then uses his GK Squads with Teleport Homers, to move his terminators close enough to spray me down with psi cannons, and then assault me. . .

I usually try to prevent this by targetting as many assault cannons as I can at his closest terminator squad, while using my missile launchers to thin out a GK squad.  I think my major issue has been escalation missions reducing my number of assault cannons, and him being Fearless.

The terminators, I seem to be pretty hosed against because of the massive saves, because it keeps saving them far to often. . .

Sorry, kind of ill at the moment. . . Got distracted. . .

make your own chapter Space Marines, I don't own any las-cannons marines for reference, I usually field 3 land speeder tornadoes, 2 Bike Squadrons with melta guns, a terminator squad with 2 *donkey*cannons, terminator squad with an *donkey*cannon, and a missile launcher, 3 almost mauleed marine squads (6 men with a missile launchers, and a plasma gun), librarian-epistolary on a bike with fota, bolt pistol, and terminator honors. . .

Well, it seems like you already have plenty of AP-2 firepower (sounds like 4 melta and 3 plasmaguns). It also looks like you have plenty of *donkey*cans for rending shots. All that should make short work of the GK terminators. The missiles and all the afformentioned firepower should also make short work of the dread and power armor GK.

Question. If you only are taking 1 psy power... why are you taking the more expensive librarian?

Well actually I just didn't mark down that I stuck with Storm of the Emperor's wrath since its free, I thought it might be of some use against the Death Wing, damn I wish that think was a large blast template. . .

No... FotA is good enough against the Deathwing.

The problem i am having with the small blast is that it has trouble hitting more than 1 terminator because most people use the large bases for them. . .

I know you said you don't have any, but I'd get ahold of as many lascannons as I could to go against that many terminators. They still get a save, but them having a 5+ save sure beats having to deal with 2+ saves.

Mainly because my sense of humor is as bad as my skill at this game.

Yes, I have decided that I need to buy at least 4 las-cannon marines, thankfully a new game shop opened up and they got the blisters, damn i hate pinning. . .

I never had to pin my lascannon marines. Just use good workmanship, and pack the models tight in transit, and super glue works just fine.

Your on the right path buying Las Cannons. I never field less than two Las/plas squads because of opposing marine players and the prevalence of Nid MC lists popping up everywere. You should probably invest in a Heavy bolter dev. squad also and force multiple saves.
