Here is my modeling diary for my GK army.

Thanks to every one who gave me advise on painting white helmets. it was spot on and they look 100 times better.

Starting off at 1500 points but going to be adding a 500 point Inquisitorial Troop to bring it to 2000.

Just Finished Some more Purifiers.
Finished my 3 purifiers with Psycannons and also my knight of the flame.

Really happy with my Knight of the Flame. Have to Say it is probably the best miniature i have done

The only thing with the knight of the flame is his Deamon hammer is not yet completed. leaving the hammer and force weapons till the end as they take for ever.

Terminators and Paladins are under coated but considering starting my Storm raven or Dreadknight.

What bases are you going with for your army?

Forge Craft games Highland Crag bases. using them for all my purifiers, terminators and purifiers. Not sure if im going to use it for Castellan crowe.

picked up the new finecast castellan crowe. the models still look the same. the main difference is the detailing is alot sharper and clearer.

On the modelling front have just started converting a box of Dark Eldar Wyches as a squad of Death Cult Assassins.

Just trying to get some feamle heads, looking at deamonettes.

Still working on castellan Crowe. Ally more intricate detailing on the finecast model compared to the metal model. Still getting used to the weight difference. But looks so much more better. Pics hopefully up soon

Very nice - If I was a demon I would wet myself and cry for mummy. Wouldn't hurt to drill the barrels on the storm bolters though.

It has been a while since my last post I have been really sidetracked with castellan Crowe. Terminators were almost finished when I couldn't help but pull out the new finecast model of Crowe. I have ordered a display base that is a 60mm base with 25mm insert which I am customizing. I have ordered 2 different bases because I couldn't desire which 1 to use. Am considering entering it into the golden daemon just to see where it stands. Will show you the base when it is finished. Concept for the base really ties in with crowes fluff. Just waiting for delivery.

Its been ages since i posted some pics. been busy with work.

Finally finished my Castellan Crowe Finecast model.
cant say im 100% pleased with the quality of the model. had airbubbles and his standard snapped off with the slightest preassure. but anyway. its done and i have also completed a custom demon invasion base for him.

You have some striking stuff here! I also really like the white helmets, especially with the ice blue eyes! The display base you did for Crowe is really great! I like that he has a normal, regulation base that fits into the super-sweet daemon base.

It looks like Crowe could use a little touch up, though. His left eye is a bit messy and the highlights on his cloak are pretty abrupt. Other than that, he looks great!

Models look great and i love the custom demon base. I need to play around with something like that for my army i have wanted to do some kind of custom base for awhile to hilight my special characters.

The base is from dark art miniatures with some green stuff and various deamon arms.

Will be focussing on terrain for a bit. Have just finished my game board. Have a bastion to make and a whole bunch of terrain coming in an order I did through wayland games before the imbargo.
