In recent times where we have seen the changes to distribution to Oz etc, Facebook debacle, resin swith + price hike, WD subscription change and other general price increases. I would like to hear your predictions of what pure gold strategies we have to look forward to?

I was thinking of some kind of built in 'Pay Per Roll' meter installed in all Realm of Battle (Clatter) boards. This, combined with a retrofit to only allow GW models to stand up on them (not on any other surafce), would mean you would be charged everytime you roll the dice. The more models you use the more it would cost.

This would be an excellent way to nerf IG etc, couild you afford those 40 man Powerblob units?, kiss goodbye to Hydra spam!

What do you think their next move will be?

They will not only charge up to 25% more for their "finecast" resin models, but they won't even remove them off the sprue! (unlike PP who do).

Truth be told, I'd rather see them on the sprue than loose.... Particularly with the longer, thinner parts. I got a set of Menoth Exemplar bastions a while back and they were severely warped.

They will switch all their produce to rapidly degenerating plastic so they only actually last a month before disintergrating, forcing you to buy new replacement models.

If you run a non GW sanctioned tourney you may not release any photos the event if they contain GW IP, so no minis, rulebooks, letters G and W together etc

That'll teach them there freeloaders!

GW will offer their customers even more value by reducing the points cost of all items in the next 40k release by 15%.

There will be no more errata, GW do not make mistakes.

You may only paint your miniatures using GW paints. The red shirts will all be given specially developed chemical testers just make sure. Further you may only paint and assemble your GW miniatures while facing the direction of the corporate home office. Failure to do will result in charges being pressed by the GW legal department.

It will purely be by accident, and when it does happen, GW will take steps to prevent it happening again.

I fully expect them to send a Red Shirt to the home of every customer that they have an address for (from shipping details on their website). The representative will then personally pee in his or her breakfast cereal or coffee (the customer's choice as the customer is always right and they value their opinion!). The falls in line with the mindnumbing idiocy of their recent decisions.

A price increase next year despite any inflation etc, stop selling to internet retailers if they offer a discount or write new business terms limiting said discount to so little then you might as well buy direct from GW...

Indeed, and whining about whining is about as helpful and as "part of the solution" as the original whining. In fact I would suggest it is less so...

A completely new game mechanic meaning all codecies are updated and rewritten. You require a super quantum laser gizmo to play the game, but because it's built by nasa, it will cost you £1000. Enjoy!

Love the game hate the company, the community is full of decet people. Go find another game? not that easy when you have been playing/collecting for 13 years and all other companies minis are (imo) boring looking, the games dont look half as much fun as 40k and WHFB and its gaining new friends or convincing others to join a new game.

As to being part of the solution and not the problem what is the solution? buy direct from GW and spend more money? no that is no solution, the solution is lower prices be more of a competative company, lower prices people buy more, new people will start the game and not be put off by insane high prices, you wont lose your long time supporters and most of all you keep your customers happy. An unhappy customer wont be your customer for long.

The economy being bad is cop out.
