My friends and I love high points games, namely apocalypse. Most of us have either 2 factions that we combine to play, some have enough to play just one faction. I'm wondering which faction would best compliment a GK army? Seeing as GK can struggle with long range I was going to assume either SW or IG. Thoughts?

Imperial Guard probably,better long range, more vehicles, large cheap units, basically the opposite of the Grey Knights.

Obviously it depends quite a bit on the units in each army, but generally speaking I'd say IG would be my top pick. Loads of battle cannons and arty would make the GK's job a lot easier.

I would definitely say Imperial Guard. If you were going to mix Space Wolf and GK the only reason I can think of would be if you want to do some kind of super cheesy combo like complimentary psychic powers, something like that. I mean come on GK and IG is classic 40k.

I figured IG would be the best mix though I also though a mix with Blood Angels would be fun.
