What i have left to paint

Other than the odd bad edges (i am a terrible painter), and the lack of decent bases until i get a basing kit what does everyone think.

lol, erm im not getting any new raiders or warriors, i may get more reavers but im not sure,

i intend to get a razorwing, couple of ravagers, few boxes of mandrakes and some other stuff, even if i dont use any of it they are cool as hell the new models.

I would get new warriors, but i have 89 of these kinds so it doesnt seem necessary.

Love the paint job on the reavers!

id say the vehicles are my faves, i shake really bad so doing the figures is hard work, i might neaten them up at some point but with 89 of the little buggers to do i cant see it being soon

I really need to base them soon, they look crap without.

i will get them up soon as i am, hoping to have it done some time in the coming weeks, its only took me two days to do this lot.

If it wasn't midnight over here, I'd be screaming obsceneties at the top of my lungs and breaking things; you TOTALLY stole my idea right out of my brain! Mine would, though, A: be based on ONLY the new models and B: the glow would come from all the recesses, like in the panel lines for Raiders and such, maybe engrave a few "trenches"/panel lines on armor here and there to help.

Sell/throw away all the horrible old warriors. Buy gorgeous new warriors and Raiders. Problem solved!

I like the idea , if it was me i would have painted the armour gloss black and then painted on the blue.

i didnt really intend to do a tron style thing, but once id painted a few i though, " holy s$*t that is tron right there.

As for disks i think that would be a cool thing for hand weapons i may try it when i get some green stuff.

Old school metal kabalite warrior with dark lance

SO...iv got a bit more painted, done a few bases (just waiting on some static gras to finish them off)

What iv painted so far will do me for the GW beginner days until i become a bit more comfortable fielding 1000point + armies.

so iv got 1 archon, 10 truborn kabalites, 20 kabalites, 1 raider and 5 reavers.

here the finished reuslt i intend to use for beginner days (be warned lots of pics ahead)

then im going to get some of the newer models.

Great looking paint scheme. I do prefer most of the new DE models, but the old Reaver Jetbikes still look pretty cool.

I prefer the newer stuff but i still like the older models, plus i got like 3 raiders, 50+ warriors 5 reavers and afew other bits for £7.50, then 30 warriors for £10, so its cost a lot less than buying new

Like the Archon and whippy person and the bases good luck. My brother did something similar to you abd god loads of old killa kans, stormboyz and Nobs. Saves you tonnes of money and the old models still look good.

It does save a hell of a lot of money, iv spent more on paints, glue and rule book than on my army.

Showcase is only for finished models. As this appears to be a thread this is being updated as more stuff gets done, P&M Blogs seems more appropriate.
