It looks similar to that in the sense that it’s an ammo belt.

Eyup, only because it's a belt, and not because details are nearly identical, and pretty unlike all other SM examples, or anything

Though, while I picked Cypher's gun because ammo on it is more pointier than other bolter belts, something bothers me - bolts are usually nearly cylindrical with round tip and wide bottom. This might actually not be a bolter at all but some sort of heavy stubber because narrowing ammo and belt look pretty close to CSM one:

Scuttling Genestealer

Also looks similar to a GSC heavy stubber or an ork heavy shoota (both codexes are getting releases, and GSC are known to be getting some more units).

I guess we're looking at a lot of different things it could be.

Armies:
Necrons: 3500pts
Genestealer Cult: 5000pts
Grey Knights: 2500pts
Daemons: 250pts
Orks: 500pts Dark Eldar: 400pts

The details aren’t nearly identical at all? Cyphers is just a solid leather strap, while the rumour engine one has a much more open structure. Apart from both being belts holding bullets, the details are very different.

That ammo belt could be Delaque related. The old models did have ammo bandoliers and belts around their coats.

This is a VERY exciting pic.

I can't see how since they always say "come to our 40K or AoS Facebook pages". Unless they want us to start advertising LotR on those sites.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

Well, they’ve teased Specialist Games stuff in the past. And whilst definitely fantasy of some kind, I don’t feel we can entirely rule out LotR.

Really hope it’s Free Peoples though. Much as I think Stormcast are cool, Free Peoples are the ones that inspire me, for the same reason as Guard do when compared to Astartes.

It’s one thing to stand firm when your a genetically engineered or magically reforged demigod. It’s quite another when you’re just Bob, with barely enough training to show you which end of the Lasgun or Pointy Stick goes toward the enemy.

They sorely need it as well. Bring in the Ironweld, Free Peoples and Collegiate Arcane and that into a single Battletome. I feel we need a proper hodgepodge Mortal list, spesh as we’ll be getting Darkoath, their Chaotic (but differently evil from regular Chaos( counterpart.

Let the mortals have their time to shine. Show us the little men and women fighting against the horrors. After all. If they don’t, all is lost.

I'm also leaning towards LotR as well

"Courage and Honour. I hear you murmur these words in the mist, in their wake I hear your hearts beat harder with false conviction seeking to convince yourselves that a brave death has meaning.
There is no courage to be found here my nephews, no honour to be had. Your souls will join the trillion others in the mist shrieking uselessly to eternity, weeping for the empire you could not save.

To the unfaithful, I bring holy plagues ripe with enlightenment. To the devout, I bring the blessing of immortality through the kiss of sacred rot.
And to you, new-born sons of Gulliman, to you flesh crafted puppets of a failing Imperium I bring the holiest gift of all.... Silence."

It is. Go look at the artwork of the Rogue Trader at the end of the Blackstone Fortress teaser trailer. It's matches his belt exactly.

Yup. It looks like a pretty good match.

Doesn't match above the belt though...unless the sword is just at the right angle to block the tie between the two sections.
