WOW HANG ON....Hi Arakasi. how the devil are you?

So today did a center piece for this table, started out with a 12" round of 5mm epvc....sketched out an idea...


Started laying down some base colours...


And added a bit more paint....


Trouble is I think it is a bit gawdy.

Thoughts welcome.

It looks awesome Cam, and don't worry about gawdy, this is chaos we're talking about, the faction that needs to decorate everything with colours, symbols, chains, spikes, skulls, etc. I'm curious how that's not considered done yet, what are you planning on doing next?

Sorry I am a bit quiet, i.e. not chatting much, just working through stuff, and concentrating on the builds.

To give Twinner a few options, I am making a raised "dias" for the center. It will have a more imperial feel. He has shown me a battle mat he wants all this for so hope this lot will key in ok.

Quick question, should the reliefs be just metallic, probably bronze, or should I paint them you know scrolls etc.

That looks really good man! As far as the chaos thing looking gawdy, I think that is the perfect feel for chaos. You've really got the display board down to a science these days.

My plaudits added to the others, I'll just leave my here on the table....

For the detail oddments, I vote color, albeit faded- to contrast with the metal and marble.

The marble finish is glorious. I’m not sure about finishing the sides with color. Maybe verdigris to show age, but since it looks like a piece of art, I almost think keeping it all metal would be fine.

so the statue is awesome and I decided I need a munda board done by dave and cam for munda cause that would be the best board ever...js...

Lord, this is beyond beautiful. Can only imagine what you'd do in other genres in the same way.
