But seeing it from a fluff kind of perspective, that would not work, would it?
I recall reading somewhere that if they think it works, it works. Or something like that.

Fluff or not it is a great looking model with a lot of character.

And to appease the fluff police maybe the gun discharged a larger shot than the ork expected, blowing out the barrel in a tremendous display of dakka-goodness.

Keep up the good work and don't let fluff get in the way of fun ideas!

As for fluff... Let's look to the Big Mek with his Shock Attack Gun.... even if this mek will think about that gun is working there is always chance that there would be unexpected blow of his weapon or even he can kill his own orkz.

Absolutely fantastic. Seriously, the pose is spot on. Lots of character, novel idea (surprising, considering the range of ork conversion, but I've never seen this done before - curled ends on blasted barrels, yes, but always on tanks and never engaged with by the orks). Can't wait to see it with the left armpit filled and some paint to round him off!

The pose is good, hope you do not ruin the left shoulder, but looking at the other greenstuff you will be fine

I like how you've managed to get a puzzled, yet still essentially Orky, look on the face.... Then got the same effect with the pose of the model

I think it's completely accurate w/ the fluff. Spectacularly catastrophic (and hilarious) failure of equipment has long been part of the Orky mythos. It's one of the reasons I started playing them in 2nd Ed. And there's no reason why it won't still work, just not exactly as the Ork intended.

Brilliant conversion and a welcomed return of humor in the Grimdark.
