Hi all:

It is once again time for another 40k brawl.

1850 points, modified Games Day missons, $10 entry or $20 purchase.

Starts at 10am, doors open at 9:30am.

3 rounds of play with $75 credit for 1st, $50 for second and $30 for 3rd.

Provided we have a good player turnout we will also give out $15 for favorite player and $15 for favorite army.

Well, depending on where your coming from, I would highly reccomend taking either the 60 to the 57 south, or the 91 to the 57 north. That might take you far enough away from the 405.

I think he's refering to all freeways running parallel to the 405 being extra crowded because of the closure (i.e. 105,10,60,5). I'll be there jon so please save me a spot

I really want to go. It would be nice to get in practice games at 1850. I may brave the traffic. Can't commit though.

When finnaly I move to CA,I hope i will be able to play at the realm - look like fun, but those SoB metal models are damn heavy to transport all from Poland

The Realm is one of the best stores in the area, the guys there are really nice hope to see you when you move down.

What about Fantasy tournaments? I`m checking this sub-forum quite often, but its rather rare to find WFB topic

They usually alternate WFB and 40K by month (40k Feb. then WFB march) but since 'Ard Boyz is next month they had to change the schedule a little bit. On top of this the WFB tournys at a lot of stores have been lackluster since people havn't really liked the 8th edition updates.

I will most likely be running a Fantasy event in September. (though I try not to conflict with GMI so I'll check and see what they are running)

We will be playing with 3 house rules in effect.
1. Flank and rear Bonuses negate steadfast
2. Units at or below 50% are worth half points.
3. Fleeing units are worth half points.

I'm open to feedback though.
