They are listed under troops on the GW site. Not very familiar with Tyranids and always thought they were elites or HQ only. Can someone shed some light here?

Yes, they are. They are listed as troops in the army list section of the codex.

I don't know and that scares me

The last codex they had they could be HQ or Elite, but they moved to Troops for their current codex.

yeah, if they arn't under the troops section of your codex you have the old one and are out of date.

Off topic: seems like there have been alot of threads with people obliviously having old codices recently.

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

Kinda reminds me of the good old days of the old Chaos codex, where there were no less than 4 different printings of the book with several minor (and a couple of major!) differences between them. Or even now, when Necrons have at least two printings...

Fun times.

It was always a mess trying to explain to your opponent that their Obliterators were not T5 but T4(5). Not to mention all the other Stealth printings like I10 Power fists.
