Im looking to get some dice that are not terrible lol. I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT LOADED/CHEAT DICE. I am talking about something that is not Chessex dice. Apparently there was a study that shows they do roll more ones that average/other dice do/should. Also, looking for them to possibly have the ability to do custom dice.

This place has some very cool dice and some good miniature cases too.

They earn bonus points for having dice made out of fossils. no, not fossil themed dice, like real fossils carved into $60 d6's

Don't believe anything you read on the internet It is common sense that an individual rounded dice with drilled pips will have bias. However, it is folly to believe that a randomized rounding process will with regularity import the same bias.

I would highly recommend gathering data yourself, over the course of 1000 rolls of a box of chessex dice, so you can see if your dice are actually seriously unfair or if you are a victim of confirmation bias.

That being said, most 'precision' dice are square cornered/edged or larger than 'normal' dice, so beware if you try to acquire sets of >20 that you will need for 40k games. Also, square cornered dice are actually far more easy to manipulate when rolling, such that I don't actually trust people who use their 'lucky square dice' to make single dice rolls: this is the reason that casinos require dice to bounce a long distance and/or off a wall to make it a valid throw.

If you still want to get some precision dice, this thread recommends www.godbama.com and www.koplowgames.com .

nerogamingdice.com do a small selection of interesting WW2 dice, though I have yet to ask them if they do custom builds.

"There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious—makes you so sick at heart—that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part. And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all" Mario Savio

There's a huge thread on this somewhere on Dakka.
I use godboma on FEEBAY. He sells Koplow dice. They're not casino dice, but they're square edged.
The more you buy, the better discount he gives. Just send him a message, telling him how many dozen you want & he'll give you his best price for them. You can then win the auction with a "Make an Offer" bid.
You don't even have to buy them all the same types. You can mix & match the lots (usually a dozen at a time).

In my experience, and the experience of numerous other gamers, square-edged dice (like Koplow) will roll a more truly random result than rounded-corner dice.
There are those who disagree, of course.
