Alright, as part of my Iron warriors army, I am looking at this list:

HQ:
Chaos Lord w/ Terminator Armour, MoK, Combi-Melta and Daemon Weapon 160

CSM squad(10) w/ Champion with powerfist, Icon of Chaos Glory and meltagun 210
Rhino w/ TL bolter 40

The Lord stays in reserve, the obliterators lay down cover and the rhinos rush up the board. The Lord will teleport in once the rhinos reach their target to shoot a unit/ vehical then assault.

to ChaosLordSam, there is a specific daemon weapon depending on which mark of chaos you take
the daemon weapon for khorne is the blood feeder, pretty awesome stuff giving a 2D6 bonus attack to the user with the risk of taking a wound

and to happygrunt
i think you have too many meltas and the two oblitz also have TL meltas and multi melta which can surely take down any vehicle and you would probably want some more plague marines or khorne berzerkers instead of so many marines

For 1k pts, I'd do a Lach prince. Or any DP with wings. Hell even a MoK one would do. I know everyone uses lash, but it is that good. Especially at this level, with the 2 Oblits and the CC oriented CSM squads, you'll be able to get in to CC faster and really blow the crap out of some units.

The lash DP, marines and oblits list is the list that a guy at my local shop plays. It is good, and I may end up looking into that.
