Ineptitude abounds as I once again act as a cautionary tale to all guard players!

well for start rough riders come in a base squad of 5 for 55 with a segeant who can take veteran sergeant gear without paying for an upgrade. you also had listed in your 2nd platoon that all the sergeants were veteran sergeants which has changed in the new codex to being able to take some of the cooler stuff without paying for an upgrade. though it looks like you followed the new dex with that platoon as they are all mounted in chimeras when they didnt use to be able to that.

also im pretty sure its not legal in either dex to have a PCS and just a conscript squad. in both editions im pretty sure platoons had to follow the basic one PCS 2 PIS before you could have conscripts

I usually list the sergeants seperately for the reasons you list (they can now take the upgrades previously only available to vet sgts) but maybe in the future I'll omit that in future army lists to avoid confusion. They are in fact all legal choices out of the current dex.

...except for the conscripts. That was a major oversight on my part. Thanks for catching that.

This was an exceptionally good battle report in terms of understand-ability. I usually don't like the pictures representing units type of diagram, but the inclusion of the pictures from the actually game made the whole thing incredibly easy to fathom. Good game, sorry about the loss! But orks iz da killiest.

I generally enjoy any battle report in which orks win

Thanks for the kind words gpfunk! If you guys like seeing batreps where Orks win then you should just keep an eye out for any of mine vs Orks.

..actually a better qualifier would be - if you like seeing batreps where IG lose.

This is one of the best battle reports I have had the pleasure of reading. Thank you.

Seemed like a TON of Orks were dying to vehicle explosions. Did your opponent remember to take his KFF saves against those things?

Great battle report!

He did. Yeah, that's actually not an uncommon occurence in my games. My exploding tanks and dangerous terrain caused by my own wrecked vehicles will usually score more kills than any of my shooting. Good Times!

Thanks again for checking it out guys!
