My penny's worth is probably give chairs a miss, unless it's a very low stool, barely off the ground, maybe a similar sized bench. Low table, possibly a cabinet or two - maybe scroll cabinets? Globe makes sense to me.

Gret work here Cam- simply amazing!

I agree in all particulars with monkeytroll and especially for the scroll cabinets. For all that this is a Japanese vessel, I would think the look of the scrolls and their storage that you see in the Jet Li movie Hero would be a great look- for all that the film is about China. The wooden folding/rolling up scrolls and the slots that they fit into in the library would work well with your highly detailed and well-scaled interior, sez I!

Terrific build Cam! I know you said that when you model you model- no TV, idle chatter, other distractions- just modeling. It's still scary how much progress you make in a session though. Truly an exquisite piece.
