I mean there was pretty much a reveal of three Van Saar things back-to-back in a short span of time.

I thought that cloaked bearded VS leader mini might've been a part of this, guess not. Pretty thrilled van saar are getting more minis though, brings them about in line with Escher in regards to model options. Cawdor will probably see a similar wave as well.

The cloaked+bearded VS leader will probably come out same time as this and the rig suit, assuming it's all FW.

I’m really thinking us slaphead Delaque fans have been somewhat spoiled with our Champion set.

We get our Brute (and what a Brute!), some psychic nasties, a couple of Murder Gits and some Familiars. All in plastic.

Everyone else gets their own thing, and then some resin.

We had to wait for the last go, but we got the best. At least in my opinion.

I do agree that Delaque got the best add ons.

This Van saar dude and spider should have been in the green goblin box instead of sucky yucky melee specialist archeotek with rad autogun.

The lascannon design is kinda meh on the other hand.

I really think van saar got the most underwhelming expansion kit out of the house gangs. The green goblin flyers still look goofy to me and the archaeotek isn't particularly great in game, nor does he look all that cool. I'm not a huge fan of the long gold chest dangy thing. The redemptionist box is almost as bad but the model with the eviscerator flamethrower saves it.

Delaque definitely got the best kit of the bunch.

The flamer Redemptionist is nice but I don't think it saves the box, the rest are too terrible looking (not everything, but it's like 70% bad). I do like this latest VS release though, seems decent.

Certainly never going to complain that us Sneaky Slapheads got the stronger hand.

Sure, we under went the most dramatic reimagining (one can love the new models, and still lament at how historically un-Delaque they are), but we’ve got one of the most interesting backgrounds, some truly beautiful models, and the best thought out plastic expansion.

I’m genuinely expecting our plastic weapon expansion to be super sparky, even to the degree of two separate sprues going on our current run of luck!

Note I wouldn’t say any Clan House has been particularly hard done by, just that Delaque turned out to have the strongest hand.

If you want empty hand or hand that does absolutely nothing the Delaque box will have a bunch of them, I was kinda disappointed they didn't use the opportunity to bring back the matrix coat


But overall van saar had the worst expansion both rule and model wise, money was wasted to make the same weapons again while "new" weapon like the rad memer is contender for worst gun in the game, could have been something ,more interesting like iron man suit with missile pod or gatling plasma gun

True, but once they're waving them around they're not really civilians/non-combatants any more.

If you're looking to dress up the market with merchants, workers, barkeeps etc my recommendation is Reaper Bones Townsfolk. They're cheap and cheerful, easy to convert, a hobby knife will take off heads and arms, super glue will attach new bits. And honestly a dude cleaning beer mugs doesn't need that much conversion.

Release dates for the regular scum guys and the market terrain?

2-3 months later than what GW intended

There're should be one more release this year unless some hiccup happen.

They did say “later this year”, so hopefully in the next few weeks.

I would guess the outlanders were supposed to be an Autumn release, so they'll probably come in Winter (I don't think they're big enough for a xmas release, even for a side game like Necro).

The thing is, two weeks before the end of the year is still fall and still meets that later this year statement. There is plenty of time for both fall and this year as the release date to be accurate.

I don't know who needs to hear this but Zone Mortalis tiles are back in stock.

I was able to grab a gang stronghold and I love this kit & WOULD love to grab another.

ZM platforms/stairs, tiles still out of stock almost everywhere I've looked for me in US.

And just as likely to go OOP without warning as they are to come back into stock.

Ya this kills me to i can’t keep buying walls without stairs… I have 5 sets of walls, and a gang stronghold just need at least 2 sets of stairs to expand this set now.

Is it worth getting another stronghold or is the build with 2 of them limiting?

2 of them seems to be the best of everything without looking samey. You can get enuff variation and really think with 2 boxes of platforms/stairs you can make a pretty nifty layout for someone to assault(which I'd be using for both necromunda & 40k.

I bought two of those also, great kit. Best value currently for terrain is the charadon warzone I'd say add that kit to the stronghold for a nice set.

Well, in Europe the stronghold is out of stock. It was available two weeks ago and I ordered one, but:
