I'm having a tough time coming up with ideas for painting my Warriors of Chaos. Tzeentch is my primary god, but Khorne is pretty kewl too, so his worshipers may make a few guest appearances. Nobody at my FLGS plays WoC and the pics on GW show black armor. I've seen a few pictures on the gallery of the Warriors painted in stereotypical god colors. That looks like wonky to me, guys with blue armor, red armor, green armor, or pastel armor. How do most people paint their WoC? I'd like to know the norm, both solutions seem foreign for some reason.

I think that if you did a certain colour then did a couple layers of wash it would look epic and be fairly easy.

So if I did something like put necron abyss over the entire model, then do weapons and details, throw down some Badab Black or Devlan Mud, and highlight afterwards they'll look pretty good?

Black is a good color to represent all 4 chaos gods. The problem is, black can be hard to do some times. See if you can work in some dark grey, various browns & a bit of metal. Ink over the top of that - the lighter shades will show off the wash effect of the Devlan Mud.

I'm painting a Nurgle WoC army at the moment. Instead of green armour they're all going to be rusty instead.

Finland... the country next to Sweden? No! That's Norway! Finland is to the east! No! That's Russia!

Well for Tzeentch, I would do a primary colour of blueish Magenta. and the trim should be a turqoise.
If this is too hard, you could consider making you WoC white.

Sweet Jesus, Nurgle and Slaanesh in the same box!?
No, just Nurgle and Slaanesh, Jesus will be sold seperately in a blister.

People may think Khorne and Tzeentch are rivals but this is not the case.
Khornes rival is Slaanesh and Tzeentchs rivel is Nurgle.

But yah if you want a good black chaos warrior Abyss with washes over it would look swell

Umm... Khorne basically hates everything, Slaanesh doesn't like Khorne, Tzeentch and Nurgle are cool (don't like each other but don't attack each other), Khorne hates Tzeentch the most, because of Tzeentch's magic, Slaanesh hates Nurgle, because... well he is ugly.

Please correct me if I'm wrong

Whoops! You're correct, for some reason I remember Slaves to Darkness being Khorne and Tzeentch, instead of Slaanesh.

Khorne hates Slaanesh because Slaanesh values deception and cowardice and Saanesh hates Khorne because his actions are an affront to elegance and grace.

Tzeentch hates Nurgle because Nurgle can reanimate things but is also the natural order of life and death which Tzeentch warps and changes.
