Just got a unit of TWC cavalry finished for my SW force, the models are the sexy lookin' Masqerade minis ones, which are all anatomically correct and all boys. Well, on with the pics!

I'm not entirely happy with the rider's faces and may redo them in the future, as they don't seem to hold up to the uber-scrutiny of a digicam (they look okay IRL).

C&C welcome.

Cool models! Some of the colors appear to need another coat or touch up. I love the horn blower guy but i'm not sure how i feel about the size of that round shield.

Keep it up, i love the space pups!

It was a leftover from an attempted "Captain Imperium" model The horn blower guy is my fave too. I was originally going for the rider howling like the Wolf, but I couldn't find the relavent hand (the left missile launcher one), so it evolved into what you see there.

Cheers for the comments guys.

Really like the howling wolf with the guy with the horn both calling out at the same time. Awsome!

Firstly I want to say, good GOD I hate TWC. Its just the idea of them, just gets on my nerves.

But after saying that, they look pretty good Did you just drybrush on the fur? You ever think about doing a wash on fur instead to give better/more fades on the fur?

It might be an effect of the flash. I originally drybrushed them Vallejo London Grey then gave them a black wash, but it looked to flat so I gave them a lighter drybrush of the first colour, they're a bit darker IRL.

Yea cameras have a tendency of washing out minis. I had a camera that would turn any red shade into pink for some reason. My BigMek in my gallery that is holding a chain with heads for trophies, theres a Chaos helmet on the chain, and it looks pink in my pictures...but its red as anything in a Khorne army

These look good. The one thing I noticed is that there seems to be a lot of detail in the fur, while the armor seems kind of flat. I don't think either method of painting is bad, it's just that it seems like they are working against one another. If that's the effect you wanted though, it makes whichever part of the model you are focusing on stand out much more. All in all, very well done minis.
