I feel like this list is going to come down to first turn, if I don't get it I'm boned, simply because I have something like 20 Kill points. Just hoping Bjorn gives me good luck heh. Thoughts?

the list looks fairly solid, the only concern I have is bjorn, don't get me wrong I love bjorn (fluff wise) but on the field i think he's more trouble than he's worth, if you drop bjorn you can take 2 rune priests and another wolf guard for your grey hunters, making them a little more survivable.

plus with the 2 extra rune priest you get more psychic defense and more psychic powers a turn, on top of your impressive AA, and fairly durable troops you'll be able to hold objectives and take down armour, with the 2 extra runic staffs you have more protection from psychic powers

I think your list is pretty good as it is. Bjorn will help you get first turn, and you have tons of fire power to give you the advantage early game you hit things. You already have the best psychic defense in the game. I like it.

Can Bjorn help the SW player go 2nd if they so choose?

I like the list. The only thing I'm not sure about is LC on the long fangs. If the pack leader dies they won't be able to split fire. Also I noticed the wolf guard is only 4 members strong, and you included typhoons for more ML. Maybe up the wolfguard up to 5, and give the 5th wolfguard TDA and a CML before attaching him to one of the units of long fangs.

Overall I really like the list, it's pretty nasty.

I'd certainly hate to fight this. It's not razorspam, but it has more staying power than razorspam, especially once bjorn dies. Plus fearless grey hunters with the wolf banner make me cringe. Re-roll 1's for armor saves during combat AND during fearless wounds, if they by some chance lose. Can't believe that thing costs 10 points.

Bjorn is a godsend for lists like this. You need to dictate not only first turn but deployment for both your firepower and Njal. If you go 2nd Njal loses a lot of his luster and your firepower advantage is mitigated.

The Lascannons are fine where they are, sure when you lose the Pack Leader you lose Split Fire but at that point you'll still have all of the dreads for crowd control among other things.

Looks like a standard rhino-rush style army only withut the rush since you can't assault from a rhino. my concern is that you are failing to take power fists in the grey hunter squads. You really need this to give you more omff against pretty much anything but especially walkers. The banner that some folks love I find to be a waste of points. Most things you will face don't play fair, such as by bringing a powerfist! And what's the point of putting two lascannons in a longfang squad? If you plan to split fire anyway, a whole squad is just as good. I do love plasmacannons, especially in LF squads.

He is bringing Power Fists on the Wolf Guard that are attaching to the Grey Hunter packs.

Was gonna ask about the 4th Wolf Guard as he just seems like an 18 point filler.

Aye I do have power fists as Martyr pointed out, The fourth WG is just a filler that makes one of the razor squads have ld9 helpful and such.

The lascannon's are to get a little better odds on heavy armor from a distance, I have three non overheating Plasma cannons on the dreadnoughts.

The Wolf Standard is almost priceless, re rolling all ones is beautiful, almost guarantees a wound with a powerfist.

Leadership 9 shouldn't be important enough to warrant the naked Wolf Guard, you have 2 models with Saga of Majesty that can help carry that load. If anything, spend the leftover 21 points on Dozer Blades for the Rhinos. They're always going to be pushing the middle so why limit yourself?

That's a good point. I roll one's like a champ too.

Yeah the Ld 9 is nice but the dozer blades would probably work better.

And definitely don't lose those standards. Able to re-roll 1's on difficult terrain tests, dangerous terrain tests, armor saves [makes you like terminators, really], hit and wound rolls, and hell even on the leadership check if you wanted to fall back and ended up rolling snake eyes! Just helps with everything!
