no its an NPC but as i said we have an constant scan so i think you need to try it on our mission but as we didnt give you the coordinates you must first get them and then you can make ur move on him because when he is in base it will be impossible. BTW WOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTT 1500 POSTS XD

yep but for now i had this chance blocked MWAHAHAHAHAHA and i think it is just normal for a commander to ask this scan in an battlefield as there is always a chance for an ambush so it is normal to be prepared for it by a scan XD

(Dragoon) The round seems to be alive in your fingers, the usual feeling of the most powerful sense a man can have, the sense of power over anouther living being, and you loved it.

The round clicked onto your vambrace as you do a quick scan with your optical lenses, nothing, you make a quick exfil and then head towards the compound using the rooftops of surviving buildings and when that fails a series of assassin chords strung up between the buildings in anticipation of your arrival by anouther agent of the Imperium.

Your are soon crouched on a building overlooking the compound. Lines of dead necrons litter the ground and furthur afield the smouldering wrecks of two monoliths and the statment of a crater signalling where a third would have been.

You look down the scope into the base and calmly look around. Soon you spot what you are looking for a lightly defended entrace with two lazy lookign guards. "For the Emperor"

Your gun was crafted by the gunsmiths of your Temple, and so you know everthing about it, the way the Recoil auto-compensators are rigged into your vambraces, the way the lever action is perfectly tuned to your most comfortable pull distance. The way the double trigger mechanism works, the first is a fail safe, once it is pulled, the only way to stop the weapon from firing would be to destroy it or remove a live round from the chamber. Not a pretty sight. the second trigger was no more than a hair of wire just behind the first, a slight amount of pressure would fire the rifle.

You load your first round, a simple round, one that you enjoy using as its accuracy has proved itself to you time and time again. You line up your shot. Centering the crosshair over the mans temple. You pull the first trigger and feel your endorphines rush and your facial visor shows an sharp increase of Dopamine levels in your brain. You grin coldly behind your mask, feeling the exilharation of having the mans life just a twitch away. You wait coldly for your Dopamine levels to drop again before taking a deep breath, holding it and then releasing you take a shallower one and then hold it. This stadies your aim to the point where the gunsight no longer moves.

You pull the second trigger. All of a sudden you can watch the bullets shallow tragectory arching out infront of you in digital display. The fully silenced round makes its arc in a fraction of a heartbeat, enter the mans temple and shatter his skull. The resulting explosion of gore make your Dopamine levels spike again. You watch in utter fascination as the mans companion doesnt even notice the explosion of gore form the silenced round. The seated victims position leaning against the wall means that the kill was completely noiseless.

Your fingers curl around the lever action of your weapon, pulling it slowly back until your mask regesters a muted click, then you load a second round. The chambered live round makes a dull sliding sound as it rails along the well greased barrel. Then it too makes a small click as the shell indents into the chamber.

Your finger curls around the trigger of your weapon, depressing the first trigger you feel the familiar rush of pleasure in your mind. The you let it drop. Taking your usual routine you line the mans temple up and pull the second trigger. This time the mans head doesnt explode, you having taken the other temple, on an acute angle instead it simply carves the side of his face away and buries itelsf in the ground. Death was long and painful for him screaming and yelling this had the exact effect you wanted. Soon men are running from all angles towards the position.

One amoungst them is the commissar. You load the Turbo Penetrator.

(Noccy) You hear the screams first, you begin sprinting towards the sound and you see the Commissar over take you as he gets there first. The pools of blood on the ground shock yo slightly and then your natural disposition flicks the ensation away. "These men have been murdered" The Commissar turns to you "We have to find the Culprit"

Usually i dont take quite this much time on a RPers post but i do so love snipers

Spectre coolly looked down the scope and squeezed the trigger, a turbo penatrator round going downrange and turning the commissars head into something resembling Hive World food, as he confirmed the kill of the commissar lasbolts started scorching the building he was taking cover in, crawling back Specter slung the Exitus Rifle and drew his Hot-shot, he may have to fight his way out of the situation.....

(Nocturne) The commissars head explodes spectacularly and the bullet whisses past your mask, the shock of the moment stuns you for a second and then you begin to poun the building that everyone else is shooting at, clearly someone saw the muzzle flash.

(Spectre), You quickly Exfil the building, taking no time about it you scale the building down to the first assassin chord and then quickly sprint to the next building across the hairline wire. This wasnt over yet

*Spectres note to self: Kill a guardsmen and steal a uniform before assassinating a commissar* Spectre ran building to building to building, gunning down the few guardsmen that were in his way, finally he reached a warehouse, however as he bolted inside he noticed no visible exits aside from the one he just came in from, and even now a Salamander APC was pulling in front of it, Spectre loved this situation, a warehouse with plenty of cover, and he with plenty of ammunition against a patrol that very well could outnumber him 20:1

The Guardsmen Rushe into the warehouse, firng shots blindly, and then when the whole lot were in and firing madly about they stop, there was no sign of the assassin. The doors behind them clang shut and a small humming noise can be heard. Then focussed blasts of Lasfire pour into the tightly knit group, each man dies with las rounds in his skull.

Soon the whole lot are dead and the assassin is calmly looting a uniform of one of the guardsmen. He thinks for a second then takes of his mask and puts one o fthe death Korps of Krieg masks on, dragging one of the men into a corner he blows him up with a grenade.

Spectre walks out of the building and salutes the officer in the cab, "Kiled him sir, Heres his mask", he gives the mask to the officer who nods "Ill take a look at the body then just to make sure." "No can do sir, I torched him. Grenade turned him to spagetti, the mask came off and I grabbed it to save it from the explosion. The rest of the squads dead, he killed them all."

The officer sighs. "Ill be back in an hour wiht reinforcements"He hands the mask back to the assassin. "Hold on to that for a bit, then well need to get these men out of here. Ill be back soon."

Spectre made his way to the base perimeter occasionally avoiding groups of men, since by either dumb luck or The Emperors will the officer had managed to not notice the Exitus weaponry he was carrying, and it was a gamble Spectre was not willing to make, as he made it within sprinting distance of the perimeter Spectre waited for night to fall and extract.

It occurred to you that most of the officers here seemed to work by rote, you remember reading something about them being so shell shocked that they had to have bionic implants to make them think, and most of those wernt particularly effective.

(I think one thing is strange as an vindicare always just ahoots his target and not innocents.) +Vox notify this event to the generals. Everyone this is an immediate lock down. No troops may leave the base and if one tries he must be shot. Patrols will be done by 2 men. And i want all troops to line up. I want a full inspection. As it was an assasin it is possible that he is inside the base. Furthermore i want the quartermasters to look around the base for clues. I know that he is reported as killed but as there are no witnesses i cannot trust that. If he is found bring him to me. And i repeat nobody leaves the base. If you try to you will be shot.

(about the whole not shooting innocents thing, To an assassin there is noone innocent when they are being given orders by what he sees as a corrupt leader, which is the orders he was given on the commissar, (Truth or no...) speaking of which ima PM WD's full orders as soon as i have the time, heading off again soon sorry guys, been a bit hectic this week, will be back to our usual scedule next week.

(WD) You manage to slip past the patrols, as a master of stealth you can easily figure out where these unimaginative men are going, it is a simple task for you. You head through a series of winding streets to your safehouse, its the remains of the Surfacing torpedo you used to make planet fall. You grimace at the wrecked thing in the middle of the warehouse, the only reason you took it is specifically for its stealth field, noone saw you come down, advanced scanners, Pyskers, or naked eye. This place is safe

Sir if i go away. My men will be useless. As an sergeant i know i use my men on the most extreme manner. But they are still my men. And my men go through fire and flames to complete my order and i will go to fire and flames for them to give them redemption. So sire i will stay. You may if you wish leave. For then i will a platoon of grenadiers with you as personal bodygaurds. So that is what i think about it. But i still want to say that i am not disrespecting you. VOX WHERE IS THAT SCAN? Soldiers clean this mess and quartemasters look if you can find something usefull on this.

Y'know I am thinking of making this more interesting, if OP is willing/wanting to take the Vendicare assassin(great for removing characters/moving the plot along) I could run a Chaos Warlord to make room for SM as well as Inquisition.
