Long time, no see. How has everyone been?

Anyway.......

Brief update time.

First off, let's look at a couple of projects that had been set off to the side, but are now complete.

The Trojan Support Vehicle of one of the Talon IPDF's Colossus Batteries:

And also complete is the Koverra-Lorraine Pattern 38 ('Light') Armored Transport for the Colossus gun crew:

Next, is the Imperial Navy's "100 Class Security and Escort Vehicle". Mostly done, except for the wear, filth, and weathering.

I went ahead and hit the Marrua Gaucho with a coat of Krylon Fusion:

Here is an Atlantis re-issue of the old Aurora 1/48 scale M46 Patton tank of Korean War vintage. The type will serve as a "limited standard" ACV/Cavalry tank to supplement the Predator ACVs. And for under twenty bucks, it's hard to beat. Especially considering the decent quality for such vintage molds.

Assembly was fairly quick and easy, with minimum fit problems. Flash wasn't as bad as I would expect for a kit made from vintage molds. No parts warping.I was pleasantly surprised.

Here is the completed basic build (minus the tracks), out of the box. The only addition so far is a GW mounted Imperial Guard ammo box/can, on the stock HMG/Heavy Stubber. Doesn't look half bad.

I hit the Patton with a coat of Krylon Fusion for a prime/shadow coat.

Pick this up on my FLGS's Ebay store. The Land Raider will serve as the basis for a Regimental C4I (Command, Control, Communications, Cogitators (computers), and Intelligence) Vehicle.

Also had this Ebay find in the queue for a while now. A vintage Razorback Mark IIb kit. It'll serve as an ACAV.

Update........

Note on photographs: To make them larger for better viewing, you'll have to click on them.

I started working on the Mark IIb Razorback ACAV Project. I built the main vehicle and main turret assembly, and will add the other bits as I go along to make painting easier.

Next was the coat of Krylon Fusion Hunter Green.....

Next up is the Marrua Gaucho project. Nearly there.........

Note: The white crud in the recessed areas is Vallejo wash, which is the first step in the application of environmental effects.

Don't mind the black marked transfer. Just a little accident while painting something else. In any case, it adds character.

The Thunderer Siege Tank is also nearly done. I will say that due to the molded-in details of the resin parts, transfer application was slightly annoying.

The BUSINESS END......

The headlights are from the Ebay seller Blood and Skulls Industry, LLC.

That's all for now. More to come.........

Vehicles are looking great! I am glad you still are doing this.

Appreciate the positive words, guys. Now, time for a small update!

Note: Click on the pics for a larger view in my gallery if desired.

Most of my efforts of late have been trying to lay down some shadow and base coating. A while back, I assembled a Leman Russ Eradicator from spares and extra bits purchased on Ebay. I finally got around to giving it a coat of Krylon Fusion Hunter Green.

After finding a can of Krylon Fusion River Rock, I also got the Conqueror and Exterminator rattle canned.

And the Land Raider Mk IIIC4i. I started painting on it after the major assembly. However, I'm doing it all by hand. So, it's slow going. I'm currently working on painting the second coat. After that, it will be on to the camo pattern.

Detail painting of the Argus is done. Next will be the 'Ardcoat and waterslide transfers.

Base coating of the Patton ACV is done. However, work's still going on with the sponsons. I also started with the details on the tank proper:

Remember this one?

Well, work has started on this one. Here is the lower hull and undercarriage.......

Using GW/Citadel tank commander bits, I added the vehicle commander and vox operator. In front of the radio set is a little homemade map I made. I only used the coupla minis, since they'll only be seen from above when the turret and aerial frame is added.

I also need to add another layer to the camo pattern.

On to some future projects! Here is a couple of old school Citadel metal and plastic Griffon Mortar Carriers I found on Ebay for a decent price.

I also managed to locate another 100% G.I. Joe Armadillo for the right price.

And some $5.00 a pop Walgreens diecast goodies. The FJ and LX's are 1/36 scale. The Toyota Harriers are "no scale", and of a somewhat toy-ish "deformed" make.

Well, that is it for now. More to come, folks!

Not where I should be

All will pass muster once you have worked a little magic on them.

The rest are all looking fantastic. Love the mixture of so many different styles. Yet it all works, all comes together.
