Looks like a great start. Greens brushed on or sprayed?

I usually start airbrushing all my work, mostly for speed and some effects I can't do with a brush.

Adding a bit more paint to the drone. Have a local player running 30k wolves who needs a rune priest. Dug through my bitz and started some conversion work on him.

Got a really nice green going on here Yorkright! I think the airbrush really suits the Death Guard.

Looks great but yeah, bit more weathering. Maybe a wash with thinned Orange, some camoshade, etc

When did Knightley visit, that is a really beautiful paint job, crisp with excellent colour scheme.

I would like to see it a little more crusty, but it seems a shame, such a wonderful job you have done.

I agree with Cam- very crisp painting, and I particularly like the metallic areas- really a feel of bronze, steel and unobtainium to them.

Beautiful work. I think you need some yellowish-brown sponge work, say around the pockmarks on the carapace. That would give it the right "diseased" feel.

Starting on a new project, a 30k rune priest for a friend. A little kit bashing and this is what I came up with sans head.

Last painted fig for the year. It has been a fun 1st year on Dakka, thank you all for following along and helping me become a better painter. By my count I finished 79 mini’s, my only regret is not getting them all on the gaming table. So here he is my take on a 30k rune priest, the basing and transfers I am leaving to his owner.

Excellent work all around- I particularly like the shading on the sword flames and the depth you've given the wolf pelt.

79 mini's in one year?! Well done! I look forward to seeing more in the coming weeks.

Christmas loot and a good way to start the year with some additions to the DG. This should keep me busy till spring, planning on two 5 man squads one dakka the other close combat.
