Love the juxtaposition of the Ogre and his pretty flowers! Great job on them, they’re a really imposing army

Thanks guys,
I'm glad that the new bulls have gone down well. I'll try and get some photos after the weekend as they should all be completed and based.
In other news I've been making two ogre mammoth riders which will be wielding cannons and be used as my ironblasters.
They're pretty small mammoths in comparison to other mammoths I've got. But different breeds and all that. Happy enough with the prints.

Yeah I didn't notice that, just thought he'd give a Sense of scale. Poor mammoth.
I've made a bit of headway but I've mostly been playing games with my spare time. I've added a rider to one of the mammoths and I'll be greenstuffing all his baggage and gear soon to go with him.
I've also been trying to make a few gaming aids. As I think they'll help with pictures of games especially.

Blimey you've been busy! You've got some awesome FW models, shame they don't make a lot of them anymore. The toaddragon is especially cool. Interested to see you 3D printing adventures as well!

Thanks, I haven't finished the toad dragon. But I have moved on.
I've got a fantasy double day tournament next month and I'd been convinced to submit a list where I needed to do a hefty amount of painting.
Two of which are the sabertooths below.
The printer will be going a bit in August as I've seen some empire minis I really want.

Thank you very much, they were actually some misprints that I thought it is definitely better to just try and paint them up and try to overlook the misprints to get them on the gaming table and avoid wasteage.

Thanks, it'll be my first tournament where I use chaff instead of throwing units in the way as chaff.
gobert wrote:Cool cats! How’d you do the the spots, they look great and blend nicely with the rest of the fur
Thanks it was just done with a flexible stencil and where it hadn't quite worked I just painted a few spots on.
So I finished basing the sabertooths and used some bushes to cover a leg which didn't print on the female one.
I also finished painting up my new Bruiser and BSB for a tournament in a few weeks in the UK.
Just have to start on the mammoths.

Good evening,
I've started on the first of my two mammoth riders which are proxying as ironblasters. I think they fit the bill pretty well.
Needs basing properly, but after that he's definitely ready for the tournament as I'm running out of time and Its soon approaching.

Thanks, hopefully the below will do for an army shot, I'll try and get more at the tournament I'm going to this weekend. Overall, I'm not quite happy with the mammoths, but they'll do for the now.

Thanks I'm a firm believer that bases can make or break a model. So I try to make them look as good as I can within my limitations.

Thanks, I got similar comments at a recent tournament so I'm really glad to hear that my hard work is looking well. Apart from a few rhinox riders that is the end for now for the ogre kingdoms.
The tournament was a roaring success. Had loads of fun and met some new and familiar faces. I however came 28th out of 34. So maybe next time I'll do better.
Which leads me on to getting the dogs of war back up and running. I've b een delighted with highland games recent work and it sent my printer whirling into action.
Hope you like yellow.

The shields haven't come out with the wooden grooves as they're only 1cm by 1cm, but I still think they'll look cool.
Much appreciated Flapjack!

I've been fairly busy doing events recently.
But I've found myself in a lul for motivation which is worrying as I've got to print and paint at least two more armies for events this year.
I finished my bretonnian Peasant army which I was really pleased with and have started a slannesh legions of chaos list.

Awesome work on those shields howie! That must’ve been one hell of an undertaking, the crispness and consistency is off the hook! Is if fully Freehand or an airbrush template? Double points if the former, kudos if the latter!
