Back in stock in the UK doesn't mean it isn't going OOP, or that what was in the E-mail is wrong.

Very true, it could mean that stock reserved for FLGSs or GW stores has been reassigned.

We are currently only waiting for the article "Realm of Battle: Sector Imperialis (64-28)" to be able to send your order in full.
Unfortunately, we have not yet received any feedback as to when we can expect an exact delivery date.

This is expected it’s no longer a supported battle size board… I mean sure they say it’s just a suggested size but that’s more of a don’t get mad at us for all your boards no longer being official size statement.

I don’t think zone mortalis is being removed yet not with them still making upgrade pieces for it that haven’t even been released yet.

Could happen, they discontinued DU, imo the best terrain set they ever made (aside from the original ZM splash release which was identical but w/o the two gangs and the paper stuff).

People have since gone absolutely nuts on Zone Mortalis, but at the time sticker shock on DU was massive, I don't think it sold much on initial release. I bought a 3d printer because it was cheaper than DU.

I mean the hive warzone set sold out in seconds… that was a more reasonable price point on the terrain 185 msrp (with a built in discount) $158 if you were able to get it from your local gaming store…
The $299 msrp necromunda set was vastly more expensive even if it was a good deal at the time… but it contained a lot of stuff people didn’t necessarily want..

Also a $300 starter set is a massive investment and was at the time the most expensive GW boxset they produced. Actually it still might be. Even sets like shadow war sold out instantly due to well priced terrain included.

So the people like me who didn’t necessarily want necromunda had to buy the individual sets piece mail at $80 msrp each… that’s the sticker shock problem…

If Gw sold more hive war zones that would have been sold out as fast as any other terrain set.

Hive warzone didn't sell in seconds, I bought a couple and I'm not the type to be refreshing the page at 10am, not that I can ever remember doing so apart from Indomitus anyway. This is more about keeping a product on unlimited supply than it is for limited runs selling out, and they've proven in the past they'll drop stuff unexpectedly, there's no guarantee that the ZM stuff is safe from the fate of Sector Imperialis (that was all good terrain and it's all gone now, presumably to make way for different stuff).

Sector Imperialis has been gone for years here in the US.

Some of it is coming back in the Kill Team boxes:

That's nice, a shame it's not the better stuff (Basillicum and Sanctum I think they were called), plus I'd have to find a buyer for the Tau to avoid feeling bad about buying this set, so not gonna bother with it personally.

It’s pretty much all the same sprues, just differing amounts.

Only one was hard to come by, and that was in the big kit with the big statues, the name I’ve entirely forgotten.

No there's no flying buttresses and no statuary (large and small). Few unruined sections too by the looks of it. All in all, if you buy 3 of these boxes you'd end up with a much different, much worse looking table than if you bought a Bassilicum, Sanctum, Administratum and some ruins.

Is it possible the terrain going OOP is that it is being “dried out” to make way for a future Kill Team box or a repackaging later?

Well, right now we don’t for sure know it’s going OOP.

We need to take the quoted email at face value. But it wouldn’t be the first time GW sent the wrong template email.

Only time will tell. But if you want one and can source one? Buy one now to avoid disappointment.

So... the order tooked a week to arrive in Corbeil Essonnes (whatever there is, but it's near Paris so I guess a transport hub) and in the meantime the 'OOP" stronghold, where there was nothing left across any channels within our business, is back in stock...

Thank you GW for making me look like a fool.

Nah, they the fools. All you did was try to be helpful.

Speaking of:
For anyone in the EU looking to get floor tiles at a 20% discount, Kutami.de lists 20 more boxes incoming shortly. They listed 5 today, about an hour after the restock emails went out and they were gone in 30 minutes (I got there first and bought 2). Freeshipping over 200€ too. No doubt other indys can order them too, but I imagine a lot of them gave up on checking the listing.

You ain't the one running a large international company here. You took them at their word, and it turns out they don't know what they're talking about.

You're not the one looks like a fool.

I’m happy people are buying this stuff up like crazy I think this set is awesome and is ripe for another big expansion box…
But what I would really like to see if one fo these killteam box sets having zone mortalis terrain and rules to expand thier marketing.

Ps I just got an alert some boxes of pathways and stairs were in stock in the US and scooped up 2 more.

I don't think Dryaktylus is a fool, but it is funny that they seem to have abruptly generated several thousand dollars in sales for GW.

You're fine. It might very well just have been that your region had none in stock and got a surprise restock.

Regardless of how it happened, anything that demonstrates that there is still a high demand for and interest in Necromunda is a good thing, if it encourages GW to keep up the support.

That's the only thing I care about, I want the game(& to a greater extent minis/terrain) to succeed and continue.

I want the game to expand outwards, rather than constantly retreading the same ground. I mean, the upcoming Book of Generic Dudes is fine for me as the thoughts of a new campaign system and generic Underhive minis is something that appeals to me specifically, but I wouldn't have been surprised to see a lot of people on the day of that reveal being unhappy that, yet again, they're not moving forward with Necromunda.

People keep talking about a potential new edition. That would be the worst possible thing for Newcromunda. It needs to move on, not move back.

I agree.

And yet, given GW's track record, usualy behaviour and general outlooks... what's more likely?

I just wish the generic dudes got more exciting sculpts. And more than 4. Where's the women, where's the freaks, the cripples, the bionics?

The kit has women. There was a guy on Facebook putting them together.

He eventually took the pics down because a group of whiny dimwits complained that he was "flexing" on them with his access to an unreleased kit, but up until that they looked quite versatile.

Unless that new edition is new setting and new gangs…

I just wish there was an inexpensive single book that allowed easy accessibility to Necromunda. You know like the book in the current box, for the same price as a White Dwarf.
