NO where near enough ranged anti tank dude. You've got 3 Zoanthropes and that's it. A ranged mech player will blow them out the water straight away and then you need at least 4+ to hit everything else.

The Tyrant btw won't last long because the Shirkes will get instagibed by krak missiles.

Hormagaunts don't need adrenal glands because they only gain half the benefit, 10 points for a Hormagaunt is crazy.

The Carnifex has wrong weapons. HVC is for stun locking vehicles and devs light armour and infantry. No point in glands as it's rare it's going to charge. These also should be split into two single units so you can spread your fire power more.

Zoeys are slow and need to get close; give them a spore pod.

Stealers are generally better with toxin rather than adrenals. They have high I anyway, so I6 to I7 is not much of a gain. 3 broodlords is a stretch, maybe just 1 and spend the points on more stealers.

That's a very large ymgarl unit, maybe trim a few for more normal stealers.

With hormogaunts you are increasing their cost from 6 to 10 points, so not far off stealers which have infiltrate etc as well. They are I5 as well so adrenals not really worth it.

Woah! Those shrikes are 60 points each! With T4 and armour 5 they need cover even when bare bones never mind at that level. They, as does the flyrant, need a gargoyle screen. You have a 6 strong brood that are instakilled by missiles on a 2+ to wound for 360 points. That's too rich for me. Adrenal and toxin are nice but not at 5 points for each per unit.

Fine on the carnifexes, apart from adrenals. S9-S10 and I1 to I2 is not really worth much on the table.

Ok. There is a big difference between I3 and I4. Still only paying for half an upgrade though as S9 v S10 difference is pretty minimal.

Why is it that nearly no1 is using crushing claws on carnifexes? they will almost always strike last anyway

Because they have living battering ram which gives them +1 initiative maybe?

+2 i. but i just checked the crushing claws in the codex and it might be because of the 25pts cost :(

Got to agree on the shrikes. 60 pts for those is just a bit too much. With a few upgrades dropped, the advice about the gargoyles is sound, plus they're excellent as a unit to tie up units if you want to deepstrike the zoeys in a pod.

Also, how have you found broodlords work for you? I'd rather have the points to spend on say, another fex, a trygon or the gargoyles mentioned.

Other than that, I'm a big fan of the amount of stealers you've got, and it's nice to see the ymgarl get a look in, especially with the competition for those slots from hive guard and zoanthropes.

a ranged mech has a base rear armer of 10 and some are 11. everything in this list can take that. the Zoanthropes are for landranders and and to drow fire. i mant to put frog spikes on the carnifexes not the Adrenal Glands. the weapons on the carnifexes are for troops. if there is a take the zoanthropes take of it and the carnifexes chargers it and its gone. the strikes are 60pts eace that is whare the gonts come in. and they stay in cover till needed. the broodlord have been working out grate they almost never die i try to always to but them in to base to base wath a power hose then kill it. it seem to work. i have played this list a few times and its seems to work vary well. destoryed most armys by tern 3 it a vary fast army.

TBH I used the claws on my Tervigons which do well, usually get 2 extra attacks per round of combat and if get 6 rounds of combat in that's 12 extra attacks so say about 2 points per attack - that's not bad. The main reason claws aren't on Carnifexes is because that would make them 185 points, 15 points more you can take a Trygon which is far superior in combat.
