Hi all, I decided I start a WIP thread to give me some motivation to get to work on building/repairing my Iron Fist army! (using Codex: Space Marines)

I'll be starting off at 1500 points, and hopefully slowly work my way up from there.

Into Vindicators!

I've had several ideas on how to convert these, ranging from replacing the fronts and putting demolisher turrets on them, but ultimately, money won, and I've started creating this! http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/273775-.html

I decided that it would look pretty cool to raise the roof on the oop rhinos, and make a psuedo, non rotating turret out of what I had available on me. So, I cut up some cardboard (no plasticard, and I found if you let glue soak into cardboard, its like a rock), and am waiting on some leman russ eradicator cannons to come in.
I'm fairly pleased with the result so far, and once those cannons come in, I'll finish the conversion and spray paint it a uniform gray. Thus, the start of my Iron Fists army will be born!

Update! I have received my Cannons, and the basic conversion is finished! It still requires a little touching up, but it is pretty much battle-ready!

Thanks for the inspiration, Depraved! By chance, did you every completely finish that tank? It looks pretty cool!

Oh, and I wasn't pleased with how the cannon on my tank was standing straight out at a 45 degree angle, It just looked way too long. SO, After cutting it down a little, plus a little more cardboard, I'm now at this. I like this better, it looks more future mega-destruction tank than the previous, which was more slanneshi vindicator with a hard-on.

yea I finished it, I just need to paint it. I like what you did with the barrel, much better looking.
