Okay, if anyone remembers when the necrons were taken off the UK site, you can forget all that.
I just looked and the entire model range is back!

I doubt they're pulling anything tbh, i reckon they're clearing back stock of metal before all the new resin's come in.
it'd make sense tbh.

as each range gets updated i reckon we'll see the same thing happen.

Ummm...somewhere...

(Anger builds inside ) They are probably just trying to get rid of as much stuff as they can (assuming most of the range is being redone) however if things just got repackaged and Necrons do not get a codex next month, I will not be a happy C'Tan

Don't know if you have read the Chapterhouse thread in General, but there is talk of Necrons being delayed til next year.

If you can keep your head, while all about you are losing their's, then you have probably completely misunderstood the situation!

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate any new info about the necrons, but he's right actually. Let's face it, we have nothing, no leaked pages like GK, no conformation, no preview pictures of new models, nothing but silence from GW. So checking new rumors to find something little solid, but to get same wishful deal is kind of irritating.

Actually, to somewhat corroborate this rumor, I heard from someone I consider to be a reliable source that Necrons will be out in Jan or Feb 2012. So, yes, it would be next year, but considering that the rumors had been Oct-Nov, this is only a push of a few months.

This is possible, sure. But my question then would be: What is GW doing for their November release? I think it's assumed they'll put something out in November, right? Nothing is expected in December. If they don't do Necrons, then what? A Dreadfleet expansion: To Dread, or Dreadnought?

Just curious as to what else would step up to fill the void there.

Looking at Kroothawk's "Rumoured changes to GW release schedule because of Chapterhouse lawsuit" thread, I did a Ctrl-F for "Necron" and failed to find even a mention in each of the five pages.
I believe you're thinking Tyranids and/or Eldar, not Necrons.

Yea cause dark elder players know nothing of waiting just a year for an update that "should be next year" or "next year is the year of the elder" and so on.

Be patient. 'crons are being worked on. And if delayed it's to get things right. Based on the last 2 releases GW has made improvements in it's new release stuff. Ogres, o&g, de, GK .... They all got fairly decent models and codeci. However I don't think we will get anything concrete until the day before they are in stores.....

They are mentioned in the Interesting 40k Rumours thread (http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/400759.page) by AesSedai, where it's stated that "I believe he mentioned 2 codexs to be released before 6th. One was Necrons and the other was either Dark Angels or Eldar." Considering that 6th is rumored to be released next summer, and we started seeing Necron rumors earlier than the recent Eldar rumors, I think it's a pretty fair guess to believe that in the 6 months leading up to summer we'll have Necrons in early 2012, Eldar in spring 2012, then 6th hitting in the summer.

Of course GW will release the Necrons before Christmas or DECEMBER, It is the biggest spending period of the year. They would be stupid not to.

November, perhaps. They haven't released a codex in December before, nor any other major releases. (Possible exception of battle forces or some other boxed set). I'm not saying it 100% won't happen, it just hasn't happened in the last 10 years and isn't likely to happen this December (IMHO). I don't mind being wrong on this point, though.

k...

There is still a chance for November. But if it's not November, it won't likely be December according to the the last 10 years. That was my point.

I hope they do come out this year. It would (should) make our necron player happy.
