yeah its a space marine army dont know how to get them into

it just an example marine for my colour scheme.

As for the mini, it looks like it needs some highlighting badly. Shadows look nice, can't really see the face. The chapter icon looks pretty good, from what I can see.

thnx slowdude its just an old model of mine (i wasnt a really good painter...) to show the colour scheme.
im in the process of making one with the sm painter

i actually stole it from assassins creed Automatically Appended Next Post: thats why im going to put some medieval theme in my army
(think of shields and the like)
Automatically Appended Next Post: they hail from the assassins guild and swear loyalty to the emperor to fulfill their oath: to fight for the people.
they're a more assault orientated army but defensive weapons
like shields are a common sight in the army.
i imagine them pressing forward in a large shieldline.

I think if you did a test mini for both that would be better 
I find colour schemes tend to look a little different to when you use a template like that.

Just leave it there, be a good source of reference for the future - both colour schemes look great though the red looks more sinister and assassiny - Scouts with sniper rifles would fit your army pretty well as well

Do black it will look better on the model. Make it look cold by using SW grey. It's looking great so far though!

I mean for the black, if you don't have it, try mixing some colours. Regal blue and skull white should work.
