So, in parallell to the Epic thread, here's the Blood Bowl equivalent. Note that multiple choices are permitted.

Assume that the miniatures are plastic and of Space Hulk quality in all cases.

Here's a pic for nostalgia purposes, but this would be a brand new release, not simply a relaunch.

I've only gotten into Bloodbowl these past 3 months and I love it to death. On that note, yes, I probably would buy it pretty much no matter what. However, I don't think there is any way GW could just release Bloodbowl and have all but a few teams alieanted. Sure, some teams might never see new models, but I doubt that it'd be released without rules for all the current teams.

Yep, if there are plenty of plastic teams. Especially Woodies.

Bloodbowl is one of the best games GW has made primarily due to the massive playtesting and growth of the game via living rule book format.

If you want a game which can legitimately be played competitively, Blood bowl is where it is at.

I own almost a full set of every team GW made models for, they had a sell out when BB fell out of support like 10 years ago. I use them for testing painting techniques. I could provide an entire store a full league of teams to play.

I hope BB comes back in a big way. I look forward to new plastics as well. I know Orcs will be on the short list of teams to get models so I am excited that as a greenskin fan, I always get mine!

I currently have it and would buy another one. This along with epic are one of the few great GW games.

I'd buy it with only 1 team in the box!

Blood bowl is possibly the best thing ever out of GW, I'd kill to see a re-release, limited or no.

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.

I still have my original copy some where, and I play the PC version and awful lot with my friends who are now too far away to reach over a table and play.

The modelling and hobby aspect of the GW, I guess, minigames, are what really drove me to play them.

I own two older copies of it, and absolutely would buy a re-release. It is one of the most enjoyable specialist games GW ever put out!

I own the current copy of it, And if they did an update just to the boxset and left the other teams available then yeah I would buy it again.

I got the first edition which i loved but never picked up any of the newer versions, until I bought the PC game last year.

Off if the back of that and buying Spulk/DF and loving the quality of those I would pribably Pick a new revision in an instant.

I would prefer Necromunda and Epic though.

You know it's interesting that many people that have played the wide variety of games created by GW often agree that the "Specialist Games" are the best game systems GW has ever created. It's a shame that GW couldn't find a way to make those games profitable enough to keep them going.

I'd buy it if there was a plastic Amazon team. An entire team of blodgers is great fun.

The only reason I would buy blood bowl is to use the minis for conversions.

Bloodbowl is awesome, and, mostly overlooked, it's a fun way to get football fans to possibly consider warhammer.

It does make sense, they don't have to write any rules since the current ones are good. (except Humans, they are the beloved underdog) Teams can be easily converted from any fantasy kit. (and sometimes a 40k kit, I made a Kroot team) The community is self supporting, all the box has to do is provide nice pitches and get new blood in.

Hi all,
Isnt Blood Bowl and all the current teams (21) currently available from GW -specialist game section?

Blood Bowl is the best game GW have ever produced.IMO.(Due to the massive involvment of the fans in developing and balancing the game.)

Blood Bowl is the ONLY game I that EVERYONE who plays it likes it!(Even my wife who thinks 'toy soldiers' are a waste of money , likes it!)

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

Sure, if the rules were easy enough that I could play a couple of games a year and not have to spend the whole time trying to struggle through them, but complex enough that if I were playing it every day I would still have lots of options to keep me entertained.

I would want it a non-limited, supported release (like I would like all their specialist games to be ).

Have to say, a blood bowl pitch/stadium is one terrain project that I have thought about doing before.

I have an old bloodbowl game and some great new non-GW mats and teams. So I probably won't buy one but would like to see a serious support for attracting new gamers.

I like it, I'd buy it, I have the old one, they still sell it!

But ho boy, the minis really need some updating. I can't really imagine them all in finecast for $25 each though...

Yea I learned to play from the video game, which I played before I ever played the board game!

No.

I already have a board (grassed and all).
I already have the original high elf team.
With the LRB6.0 available for free from the actual playing community who keep the game alive despite GWs efforts - why would I ever want to pay for the rules?

If it wasn't so damned expensive here in the land down under I'd already own it. I'm building my own though. But if they did a release at a reasonable price I'd buy it in a heartbeat. As it is I'm building everything myself. My human team will be some of my Space wolves, and I have some fantasy orks that will work well. Bloodbowl is also one of the few systems I can see myself actually enjoying converting for.

The clincher for me would be the price. I love the game, and if it was priced reasonably, then I would buy it regardless of content or continued support.

If it was ludicrously priced (eg Dread Fleet price), then not a chance.
