Subject: Inq28 plog- WIP Wyrd and Inquisitorial Body Guard (02/08/12)
(Edit; none of the fluff beneath is relevant to my current project but I've left it in if people want to read it) Inspired by the Inq28 blogs on dakka, such as PDH's, Dexterkong, Migsula and Commisar Molotov, I've decided to start my own warband.
Looking through the rule book I was immediately drawn to the space marines (I know I couldn't help it; there so shiny!). I decided to start making a chaos space marine and then think up his profile later, after I'd made him.

I am writing this file after a series of sacrifices have taken place on the main planet of the Vorso system. At first we didn't believe the killings to be sacrificial, but after seven more murders happened, I became suspicious. I believe that they are dedicated to the chaos god, whose name I shall not utter, my main reason to believe this is the way the bodies have been mutilated.
-They have been drained of blood
-They have engravings on their necks
-All are members (but low ranking) of the Eccleshiarchy
Another notable injury upon these people is that they have no feet, and their ankles show signs of a chainblade being used.
I shall continue to observe and investigate these crimes until I have found the killer.

Further research has revealed the chain blade was issued to the World Eaters' (excommunicate traitoris) 5th Company. This now confirms my fears that there is a renegade spacemarine somewhere on this world.

After reading this article as a mere interrogator, I've made it my life's work to find and destroy the herectic(s), who reside upon this world. Earlier this year I discovered a cave, in the North Praegrandis mountain range, on the side nearest to Hive Angor. Inside this cave there were the remains of over 600 humans, each with the same mutilation mentioned earlier.

Suddenly in the distance I saw them; a small group of men standing defiant on the horizon. I knew that they were the false Emperor's men, and this spurred me into runnning faster; eager to spill their blood and offer their skulls.
In a matter of seconds I was amongst them, I cut of two off their heads of and as they hit the floor; decapitated, the bloodlust took over me.
As more people died around me I let out a roar; this orgy of blood was just beginning!

Dubium entered the room inside the Ordo Malleus fortress upon Terra. He walked up to the Inquisitor Lord sitting on a chair, the Inquisitor made a gesture and Dubium spoke.
"I have an incoming message my Lord." Dubium said.

"I am speaking to you about the supposed Chaos invasion of Verso Prime. I am led to believe that a traitor, who fought upon Terra when our most beneficient Emperor walked among us.

This is a good looking start buddy. Not sure about the horns on the World Eater myself but I do like the brand of Khorne on the face of the cultist although I would make him bare chested Gladiator style.
Cheers Biohazard, the cultist is meant to be more of a priest. His body guards on the other hand will be hulking slabs of meat, who're armed with massive eviscerators and passifier masks (like arco-flagellants).
The beserker is the start of one warband which is made up of eviscerator toting cultists, whilst the Inquisitor is leading his Ordo Hereticus retinue, the retinue and inquisitor is actually my brother's but he isn't confident enough to do the green stuffing himself (he also lacks some of the finesse and skill as well, mainly because he's 10!).
Here's the first member of my own warband; Stormtrooper Sergeant Luther Zaphus. As you can tell at the moment he's pretty 'armless ( ) because I'm just sculpting his bionic arm.

Nothing is known about Zaphus’ early life, apart from that he was the son of a powerful adept on a feudal world. In early 934 M.41 he arrived as a teenager into the Schola Progenium and immediately began training to become a storm trooper. Despite excelling with a rifle his real skill was with a blade, and at the age of 16 he was beating the best teachers on the planet. He experienced his first war at the age of 20 when a chaos space marine warband attacked a nearby agri-world. After 2 months of fighting only him and 20 others survived, all in various states of injury, it is said that Zaphus lead them to victory yet he remains silent when asked about what happened. Zaphus himself lost an arm, and he stills carries the bionic to this day. He was awarded the medallion crimson afterwards and given the rank of special ops sergeant. After 25 years of service he was sanctioned to a young Inquisitor of the Ordo Sicarius, by the name of Magna Abiectio. His first mission was to kill a rogue Eversor assassin that was terrorising the Hive-world of Cancuros. He fought the frenzied killing machine for less than 10 seconds before having his bionic arm ripped off. As he struggled on the floor, the assassin loomed over him and was about to perform the killing blow, when it fell upon him; decapitated. The person that had performed the killing blow was the Inquisitor. Since that day the two have enjoyed a good relationship and Zaphus is now part of Inquisitor Abiectio’s personal retinue, acting as a bodyguard and military advisor.

He is right handed and has an advanced bionic left arm (no strength bonus) with built in laspistol.
A power knife and a knife. A krak grenade, 2 frag grenades and a photon flash. Carapace armour with 3 points of bonded ablative-ceramite on the chest and abdomen with flak armour on arms and legs.
Blade proficiency- +15% Ws when armed with a knife, power knife etc.

Sanctioned Officio Assassinorum Callidus Assassin Jarael; a Callidus assassin that was forwarded to the temple by the Inquisitor and is his spy within.
Rogue Psyker Oinasni Vis (wip); a psyker picked up by the inquisitor during investigations upon the hive world of Vanaheim.

Really really like this latest edition to the warband! Nice bit of fluff to go with it also. Did you sculpt the legs yourself? If so they look excellent!

Aryius the Time Keeper
Aryius is basically the executioner of my brother's warband, he is similar to an arco flagellant; he is activated by the trigger word Hereticus but he only attacks one target on the battlefield until the end of the game, the death of his target or if his time runs out, which ever comes first. When the hourglass in his hand runs out he immediately stops where he is and what he's doing and detonates his plasma generator. This won't happen if he kills his target. When his first target is dead he may nominate a new one if he's within 20yds of the inquisitor.

He is made of the harlequin death jester's body and arms, Kal Jerico's legs, a catachan command sprue head, he also has a dark eldar hand with a cut down power sword and a pistol which may be in or out of a holster.
I've also began work on my brother's next member who is a Feudal Psyker Hunter, called Kelborn:
As you can see their both wip and blu-tacked together at the moment, but C&C is always welcome!

Ordo Sicarius Inquisitor Magna Abiectio, Thorian
Magna Abiectio was born into a rich family of merchants on the planet Harakon. From a young age he showed exceptional skill with a blade. However it was his mental skills that won him renown throughout the system. Many believed that he would become a commander in the Harakoni Warhawks. In his late teens however his fate was changed when a Thorian Inquisitor arrived upon the planet, declaring Magna as a possible Divine Vessel. The inquisitor, however, wasn’t who he appeared to be. Later records reveal that he was in fact the rogue Inquisitor Cornelius Hydranus; a Thorian who was infamous for his treatment and creation of Divine Vessels. At that time he had been constructing a body out of the parts of particularly gifted humans; all he had needed was a powerful, yet young brain. Soon after Magna had arrived on the ship he realised some thing was wrong. The ship spent a month in the warp before re-entering normal space near the back water Hive World of Caramus VI. It was here that Inquisitor Hydranus began his move on Magna. After luring him down to his surgery he set upon him with a buzz saw and a surgical scalpel. However Magna was an expert in unarmed combat and quickly disarmed the old Inquisitor. He killed Cornelius with his own scalpel blade before escaping in a saviour pod. A month later he was discovered by his future mentor Inquisitor Zaldez. Despite being weak and having virtual no life signs, he recovered to full health and became Zaldez’s acolyte. After 30 years of service he was granted his own inquisitorial seal and has since then he has served the Emperor with distinction, despite the rumours in recent years of his unorthodox methods of investigation.

Ok an update, at last, sadly I haven't finished the beserker due to mainly homework and other time constraints. However here's some pictures of him to prove I've actually done something
Finished pictures of him should be up by the end of the week.
Nice. I quite like the pistol and the general layout. I think the hood could be smoothed out a little, and the bionic arm might need another joint in it, with the blade as a hand, instead of forearm. All in all though, I like it

Ok I haven't updated here for a while, but I've been lurking. Due to school work and the other downfalls of reality, I haven't had much time for the hobby. But after having a moment of inspiration, I drew up a quick sketch for a new inquisitor.
