Not a lot of progress. Got a whole faction done .

Excellent work Cam, I’m sure you’ll get the boys into it soon enough. What’s the other faction in the box?

The Russians? Cam... really. The ALEPH minis are the much cooler from that box. Both are quite playable though.

Just so you know, you can top off by getting the Beyond Coldfront box, and have 2 10 mini forces ready to go.

Nicely painted they are. Take your time with them. You don't need many to play. However, they can be like Pokemon. <glances at number of unpainted infintiy figs in the painting queue. sighs>

You and the young 'uns ought to have plenty of fun playing. Do work through those introductory scenarios in the Coldfront box rather than jump into the full game. There is a lot to Infinity; it is best learned in small pieces.

I love the battlesuit. He looks great in green. I've never played infinity, but the minis are lovely.

I vanish from Dakka from a week or so and you manage to churn out a gross Nurgle thing that will give me nightmares tonight, a Tau mech, a whole mini army, and a bit of terrain to display em. Consider me impressed!

Remember Cam, those are Russians, so any graffiti you do needs to be in Cyrillic lettering. A good backdrop, BTW. Not overshadowing the minis.

Monkeytroll, it's called a trenchhammer, and it is relatively new. It is also throwable. The mecha is called a Ratnik.

Ridiculously good, and great to see Infinity done with grit and grime. I like the russian miiltary green, really effective at creating a distinctive style.

Thanks folks much appreciated.

Little side track, bit of terrain for the Infinity. Stolen shamelessly from the truly masterful RedHarvest, they say to copy is flattering, not up to his standards, but....

Yes I know the water effects went a bit wrong, my fault, and trying out new stuff and being silly and not patient and using stuff that should not be anywhere near it, but it is OK, it is for me and I can live with it........I hope.

And with the scraps lying about the bench made a couple building toppers, for future use...

Yes Red I am going to make whole, complete, undamaged buildings for a change.....

Thank you for looking, and as always please feel free to comment.

Товарищ КаМСКИ, ты хорошо справился

Yes, nailed the Kazak look in one. Nice. Water effect is fine. Maybe a few ripples in the pond? Say, Elmers is now making a clear glue... https://www.amazon.com/Elmers-4336846284-889673068018-6-Pack-School/dp/B0134C3HI2?psc=1&SubscriptionId=AKIAILSHYYTFIVPWUY6Q&tag=duckduckgo-d-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B0134C3HI2 that I've heard makes for nice water type effects. Give it a try.

I'd add a light gray or white to the ALEPH minis. Maybe not a complete copy of the studio scheme, but close.

That fountain makes for a perfect piece of scatter in Infinity. You'll see when you play with it on the table.

Thanks Red.

I am leaning heavily toward your suggestion of more white panels on the Aleph. But for now just getting them together...

And another still in the works....

They are all still WIP, got to go a long way on them yet, first job tomorrow will be getting them uniform, then as Red suggested a bit more painted detail, a little less metallic. Wanted to try it to see what I could come up with, but they are not quite right.

Thanks for looking, and as always C&C welcome.

it Cam, now you have me looking at Aelph models . And the Miniaturemarket deal of the day is a 6 model for $20 set . Nicely done street scene. Looks like the Americans of the future still line up for Black Friday sales .

Hmm. I find them a bit too bling for my taste. Maybe either a deeper recess shadow or (perversely) a brighter edge highlight?

Been lurking a while here and in the orky thread too and I gotta say that I'm more than impressed!

I think you are an amazing painter and even better at crafting stuff. All your terrain pieces are so inspiring. I might have to lend a few ideas.

Still have a lot of earlier pages to go trough, but I think I might just do that! Also looking forward for the future and whatever it brings with it.

I've been planning to add an ALEPH faction to my collection... Very nice looking minis, these new ones.

Do continue. The way you've painted the Dakinis gives them a Terminator look. Nice and sinister. Fitting, considering the way ALEPH is portrayed in the background.

Lovely work on these Infinity figures. The fine proportions always intimidated me from trying them out for painting, but you've done a great job. Love the street themed display stand, too!

Thanks folks.

These are truly beautiful models.

But today a little something different.

Wanted to look at roads again, and since I will need some nice ones for infinity.

Started with a pice of eva foam flooring and a piece of laminate mdf flooring.

Put on some boarders..

Tried to add texture, did not really work..

Ended up with something like this, which I am happy with...

And knocked together one of Red's whole houses....might add more floors, not sure yet.

Thanks for looking....
