Hey everybody I made this because I couldn't find any Lord of the Rings RPG so here you go. This is going to be during the films....like mini battles.

The fellowship was formed and set out on their quest. So the remaining force of good prepare their armies for war but the forces of darkness spread out and conquer the freelands. Elves prepare to defend their sacred homes, the Dwarfs ready their mighty warmachines to battle the forces of Sauron and Man prepares for the darkness coming. The Orcs march from Mordor to conquer middle-earth for their dark lord, The Goblins leave their caves to rob the riches from the free people and the Uruk-hai march the lands slaughtering all for Saruman.

Rules:
1. Players can not attack eachother until I say you can.
2. Must make up your own character. (I get the Ring Wraiths because If anybody else had them there would be hell on earth)
3. Must be dedicated to RP.
4. You are aloud 10 NPC.

I've only ever seen the films and not read any of the books, will that be a problem? I only ask as I'm quite sure that a lot of information was left out of the films.

Sergeant: Ronan
Affiliation: Rohan
Weapons: All soldiers are equipped with sword, shield and medium spear along with heavy armour
Description: A group of 10 Rohan Soldiers that patrol the inner villages nearest the kings residence on foot, while the Riders of Rohan patrol further afield tothe more distant lands and villages. Led by Sergeant Ronan the group instill law and order within the nearby villages to remind them the reason why they pay their taxes by showing them that the King of Rohan actively defends all his borders. The group have little history of note that distinguishes them out from others, in fact Ronan is the only one who has seen a larger scaled battle whereas the rest of his squad have only been involved in small squirmishes with several orc bands that dared to attack some villages. Despite this, the villages generally welcome their patrols with open arms and regard them highly as protectors and warriors.


Segeant Ronan
Ronan was born to the outer village known as Despar, although a simple farming village many of the villagers were subscripted when orc skirmishes were reported more frequently. A man of few words but a fearless rage has seen him quickly promoted as a natural leader, able to inspire courage in those under his command with his unshakable faith and bravery. Perhaps his only flaw is that occasionaly in the heat of battle he forgets that he is part of a team and fights combatants solo.

Brea'dore
A fearsome warrior with a battlecry able to unnerve many foe's. Built like a tank and a penchant for galloping headlong into enemies he has long served as a human battering ram and has the skill to match his strength. Despite his fearsome fighting style he also has a nobility and always appears to be thinking of the bigger picture rather than simply the battle in front of him.

Ummas
Ummas ails from the same village as Ronan, however the two were never friends and despite being in the same group there exists a strange tnsion between the two that neither can explain and has kept the pair at arms length. Slow to anger, calm in the midst of battle describe's Ummas at his best.

Peadro
Peadro was the eldest son of a proud family in one of the outer villages. He dreamed of glory and power when he joined the guard however his arrogance did him no favours. At the age of 42 he finds himself within the ranks of infantry still. Although his honour finds him serving to the best of his ability he still holds a distaste for those younger than him who have been promoted instead of him.

The other 6
Fresh from the barracks, today marks the first day of actively patrolling the plaines of Rohan and therefore, not much is yet known about these new recruits.

Race: Human/Numenorean (Ranger of Arnor)
Equipment: Longbow, Bastard Sword and daggers.
Appearance: Similiar to Aragorn in 1st movie, but instead of brown clothing he wears dark green.

Race: Elf
Equipment: Sword, Bow and Silver thorn arrows and Robes
Background: N/a as he has memory loss
Appearance: white robes and White hair

Extra: we have 3 largish wagons with steeds to pull them. we use them to travel around the lands of middle earth, they are large wooden carts pulled by those BFMEII beasts the dwarves use. One cart has a crossbow mounted in the back. we are near the lands of rohan a lot and sometimes ride with the rohirrim in our wagons throwing axes and stuff like that.

Noob and ZOMBIE CAT the rules say 10 NPC thats the rules.

In thenoobbomb's case I believe he is saying 5 out of the 10 have bows and 5 out of the 10 have halberd, rather than 20 in all.
