Witch Hunters: 992

Faith Points: 7

HQ: 222, each is 111 points

111, 45+20+10+15+20+1

Canoness with Cloak of St. Aspira, Power Sword, Inferno Pistol, Jump Pack, Frag Grenades

111, 45+20+10+15+20+1

Canoness with Cloak of St. Aspira, Power Sword, Inferno Pistol, Jump Pack, Frag Grenades

Troops: 498

166 points per squad = 132 for sisters, 14 for Veteran Sister Superior Upgrade, 10 for 2 storm bolters, 10 for Veteran Sister Superiors Storm Bolter

3 x Veteran Sister Superior with storm bolter, 11 x Battle Sisters with 2 Storm bolters

Heavy Support: 272

2 x Exorcist

2 x Search Lights

As you can see the list is designed around shooting and Faith points, while still having 2 fast moving sort of assaultish hq's, I also put in some great anti-tank, anti-terminator weapons in the form of the Inferno Pistols, and the Excorcist.

I would have liked to fit in a Litanies of Faith but I ran a bit short on points. .

For Modelling, I plan on using a red base, with white cloth for robes, and cloaks, with some brass or gold for metal?

What are your opinions on the list?

Well, that's an interesting way to write up a list...

This isn't another one of your "I looked at the reference sheet on the website because I don't have the codex." lists is it?

So um..., the Canonesseseseses are going to be running around with JP's all by themselves? I haven't referred to my WH dex in a loooong time, but I fear that might not be such a good thing. What do you plan to do with those 2 BEATCHES running, excuse me, jumping around?

Sorry for not having the Dex at my fingertips, but under your troops, I think you may have an incorrect tally of 525. By doing the math on your HQ and HS, I multiplied the cost at the end by the # you had in front. Both came out the same, though I am only validating the #'s you gave me to work with. I am not saying the points cost you listed are correct. By doing that, I got 75 for your vet ss. Then I knew you meant 330 for your sisters...no way was it 2270..., then 180 for your SBs and what nots....='s 585.

Did you miscalculate and throw up ANOTHER illegal list?

Sorry I was trying to save room, because I was working on something else on that page and I hate it when it skips to the next one in the middle of a paragraph I will fix the layout and I have corrected and indescrepency. . .

I had planned on having another couple pieces of wargear, and because of the bad wording, I had written down the wrong point value for the storm bolters. . .

The psychic hoods would have been nice as well, but after double checking, I realized I had missed the small note that they could only be taken by the inquisitors.  (damn)

To fix it, I have included 2 more sisters for each of the 3 troop squads. . .

Hmm...don't know if WH can get something similar, but DH can grab elite-inquisitor for 20, 8 for henchman of +1 LD, and 20 for psychic hood - still, that is the cost of four sisters.

When soldiers think, it's called routing.

In the future, I'd avoid using that format for your list. It's quite confusing and lists the specific point values of your wargear (which is frowned on by just about every GW related site on the 'net) . Fortunately, you have the wrong point values listed for some of your Wargear, so people would have to look up the correct values in the Codex anyway.

I would highly recommend reading page 20 of the WH codex and double checking the point values in this list. In particular, I'd look at the points for the weapons you gave to the Canoness. You are a little bit over your point limit because you have the wrong cost for some of your weapons. After you get those points right, I'd remove the specific values that you posted and just leave the totals for each unit. This is a much more accepted way of posting your army list.

From an overall standpoint, it isn't a horrible list. My primary concern is that you have a large amount of points tied up in non-scoring ICs, and all of your scoring units are slow. Personally, I'd rather see a squad of Seraphim with an Eviscerator armed VSS instead of a second Canoness. I'd also like to see you drop the Melta-Bombs and pay the points to give the Canoness and Eviscerator as well. With the IP and Eviscerator, she'll be a very versital model and do much better in close combat. You can make up the points for these upgrades by dropping the Storm Bolters on the VSSs and reducing the size of your Sisters squads. I was able to quickly modify your list and despite the fact that my list has two less models than yours, I have a mobile scoring unit, two Eviscerators (which greatly help a S3 character in close combat), 5 melta weapons (including the Inferno Pistol), and four flamer templates (two of which are highly mobile). If you wanted to re-work your weapons you could get back up to your model count. In my opinion, this will be a more effective list for you.

I KNEW IT!! Yet another refernce sheet army by citadel. If there's one thing the community can rely on from you, it's that your lists are tactically flawed and boinked as well.

Man, you should be excomunicated from posting privies for a week.

Why do you insist on putting up lists that you don't own a codex for?

When will you learn that the reference sheets off the web are NOT suitable proxies for the actual army list? GW has a nasty habit of putting conflicting info within the same codex. You can't expect that this won't carry over to the web also.

I'm really not trying to be rude, but after 4 or 5 totally boinked lists, plus this one, one would think you got the point. Your greatest hits includes the IG army with 2 platoons of a HQ and 1 sqd (need 2), and the Emp's Children list with Mark of T (can only have MOS). C'mon, do the community a favor and wait for your pre-ordered Tau to get there and then post out of there. I'm sure your armies would get much better feed back and advice.

Flagg, Screw off. . . Its right in front of me. . .

Preacher, I got it thanks forgot to pull off the melta bombs for the inferno pistols. . . I also happen to agree with you about the lower number of models and scoring units than I would like. . . I think pulling off one of the Cannoness, to add a squad of Seraphim. . .

Umm...no, I won't screw off. So now you have this Codex? I won't bother arguing about whether or not you have it. I won't point out the multiple threadss where you said you didnt have a dex and were using reference sheets off the web. No way I can actually prove you dont have the dex becuase of the lovely anonimity provided by the WW Web. On the other hand, others can see my point, and your *donkey*licking army lists under several threads.

GK Demon Bomb?
Best Mark for EC? I'd laugh it it wasn't so sad....

just 2 to name the several you've posted over the last few days. Your lists are the absolute worste. Your lists are as bad as Atkinson's rules comprehension.

I pronounce you excomunicatus!!! Your lists are the sux.

Wow, thats a little extreme. There aint anything wrong with trying to get an Idea for a list when you don't have the books yet, I used to do it when I was starting (but then when I started the 3rd edt. Rule book told me everything).

<?

And citadel97501 if you do have the Witch hunter Codex you should know what Order the Red & White is along with painting tips on it. Do you not?

As for the list, I?m a bit confused. It seems like it?s a hodge podge of random stuff spliced form other lists trying to form something half decent. 2 canonesses flying around? 2 Exorcists?  Looks like 3 units of 12 Sisters  w/ 3 stormbolters? I just don?t get it.

Extreme? Yes, it is.

Do the facts warrant it? They certainly do.

If you'd be so kind as to check out the very threads I mentioned in the above list, you'd see where I was coming from.

You'd also notice that I told him some of the same things you mentioned about looking for info and what not prior to shelling out the ridiculous amounts of money we all do on GW stuff.

Finally, take note of the "screw off" comment I received.

He has stated in other posts that he doesn't haave the codeci....that he was using "info from a friend", using "the reference sheets from the website" and "extrapolating info from other army lists" to come up with these *donkey*licking lists.
I attempted to enlighten him in ways to better get the info as well as ways to post. He failed to learn from his mistakes.

Asking for info about an army is one thing.
Asking "How is this army" without the dex is something else entirely.

If he can say screw off, I can certainly excommunicate his *female dog* ass.

Death Wing, from the codex I believe the closest would be the Bloody Rose or the Argent Shroud, however it would be a mix of these two since the Argent Shroud has a bolt gun colored armor and white robes, while the bloody rose have red armor and black robes. . .

Frankly looking at how the colors turn out, I would probably use The Order of the Sacred Rose their White Armor is the best looking of the examples they give. . .

page 58-59. . . for the red cloak they use in the example its a Scab Red Base Coat, Blood Red, and then Blazing Orange. . .
