Maybe the WoC helms could work, but no horns of course.

I used that particular tutorial, and it worked out wonderfully. I used the normal SW heads, but it worked great.

Good luck

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?

I am in the process of doing that for one of my squads of chosen & my 'counts as' plague marines in my Iron Warriors army. It's not easy per se, especially removing the thigh armor, but it is do-able. I then used all the leftover axes for my Grey Hunters & the hammers & maces for my wolf scouts. I've used a mix of CSM & WoC heads to good effect.

i wouldn't use the WoC helmets if i were you.. not ot discourage you but the Sw heads do a lot more then you think to th SW feeling a mini has.. but if you want to go for it

Nice tutorial there, might be a fun project sometime...with a few tweaks for personal taste...

First I cant paint faces worth a damn, so Id have to use helmets...

Second Im not into SW so much...maybe mesh the Chaos Warriors with CSM bits....

Hmmm... Just a thought for myself as I tend to like at least semi-true scaling what I do with marines, why not use the SW Terminator legs with a little bit of modification of the process? These already have the thigh plates (albeit a different style), but will generally add to the height and scaling of it. It is just an idea and is what I would like to try as I also play Imperial Guard. It just bugs me seeing a guardsman standing next to a marine and they are the same height when the marines are described as being about 8' tall giants.

You say that I am crazy. I say that you are right!
