i have a couple of questions regarding a trench table i want to make with my mate, i want to make a table out of foam (blue or pink) and i was just wondering where i mite pick some up (i live in Melbourne, Australia). also i want to add a few things to the board craters with water in them dead bodies and pillboxes does anybody have any instructions/tutorials or ideas that mite help me.

Craters could also be done with the foam, perhaps the pill boxes as well. Though you could use plastic card for them instead. As for the foam I'd try asking around the local Bunnings (I'm assuming they have them down there in Melbourne  ). Either they'll have it or may know a local place that does.

Any hardware store that sells insulating material. The pink/blue extruded foam is just insulation material. Expect it to be more expensive than you are expecting.

I've tried Clark rubber and Bunnings but neither have the closed cell insulation foam, those pill boxes were exactly what i was thinking of although i want my trench to be a large set terrain board rather than a lot of modular pieces. and also what would i use to cut the foam

Well, that depends on what you have access to. Ideally you would want to cut it with a hot knife as this will cut it with a minimum of fuss and mess. If you do not have that, a band saw works wonders if you have one, but it will be messy. Failing wither of those, your best bet is either a metal type hacksaw blade or a scalloped / serrated bread or carving knife.
