I want to use this model with my Dark Eldar but I don't quite know how. Her armor is too heavy for anything IG related, maybe an Arbite Enforcer who has fallen prey to the space pirates?

Its a fun piece that is silly and stereotypical, but reminds me of the vintage Ral Partha Slave Auction minis.

Absolutely. She's skinny on the top, Thick on the bottom (obviously the slave life has been doing her good). And she's does got the badonkadonk. If she was IRL you'd get her digits, don't lie.

I'm not feeling this at all. For me, if you're going to sculpt a naked female then lets get the proportions right....ok, everyone looks different, there is no "absolute" when it comes to sculpting humans, we come in all shapes and sizes, but this woman just looks like an over-weight town dweller and not someone who'd likely get captured for any reason, not even to be a pleasure slave.

I'm affraid, in reality, given the horrors of war, this poor unfortunate accident of genetics would more likely end up in the gutter with a round through the back of her head, while her more attractive and in better shape sister gets carted off as the "prisoner".......

Well, back in the day, chubbiness was considered attractive. The "supermodels" we have nowadays would be considered emaciated peasants.

Regardless, this model is really as arguably tasteless as most other topless miniatures that litter the internet and half of CMoN's tore.

I have to ask, how much for the minis on your site Brother Vinni?

Having had a quick look there are a few nice bits (for me mainly Iris Female Paladin which would make a very nice heroine...).

From what I have seen, this mini and the rest of the company's; I have one question.

Err, sorry, I don't believe I stated anywhere that the woman would need to be a super model (what ever that really is), I'm also not so dense as to suggest that my "ideal" of beauty should be the benchmark for all men, or even that it could be captured in 28mm of resin figure.

I'm simply stating that this particular sculpt looks clumbsy and ill executed, if the miniature is supposed to fire my imagination and catapult me into a world where "this" would be a desirable prisoner.....well, you saw my statement about a round to the back of the head.

This miniature reminds me of GW early attempts to get young pre-pubescent boys excited, before they realised they had noone on staff able to capture the female form in anything but it's most obvious and crudest effigy (read oversized boobs and hips that could birth a horse!). My guess is that Brother Vinni's attempts at naked excitement on the table top will do less trouser tent making and more Brokeback Mountain creating.....

I like it, I would use it for a prisoner inside a DE raider. Also I see nothing wrong with it's proportions. It goes right along some of the deformed stuff from GW. I think it will fit in nicely.

The comissar, I wish she was wearing a shirt and I would definitelly buy it. I decied for Sorcha for my comissar instead.

So I think peoples come in all shapes and sizes. I think painting nudes is the best way to master skin tone. I think this miniature was painted well, and after seeing it painted I'd be much more inclined to buy it than if Vinni just photo'd the metal/resin figure (some paintjobs detract, this one actually added value IMO). I like this mini.

I'm interested in those Birdies, do you have additional heads for the skin chicks?

I'd like to know about getting some skinheaded ones, some with mohawks, and some with the wave cuts, like those pictured.

Additionally, are those metal minis, or resin, and if so, are there weapon options?


I'd like to buy some of those other minis, as well, and In particular some of those will be of great use in Golgo Island.

Although it would be hypocritical of me to get too worked up about it, I must point out the lack of decent male "prisoners" on the miniatures market. Hasselfree makes a couple of possible starting points for conversions, but that's it as far as it goes. I'd be more likely to incorporate this kind of thing if it could be at least vaguely equal opportunity. As if the dark eldar are only interested in busty human females!

Don't need any naked ladies but your not-Brotherhood-of-Steel figs are amazing, Brother Vinni.

Well, from a miniature design/fantasy art/videogame art perspective*, she's positively chunky!

I'd like a few of them. Wouldn't mind that old one from a few months back that was.... well endowed, Kneeling slave woman. that one that got people even more worked up then this one does.

any way of getting comparison shots of these figs with others of metal design, such as westwind, Cobblestone, etc?

You can order them straight from the site, I think. A dude on Warseer bought a few of his minis for a Fallout project.

I like it personally as oddly enough it looks more natural too me then most models do out there. Here in the States I see many women shapped that way so the model "feels right". The only thing I am personally not a huge fan of is the hands, they seem... flat too me for some reason.

The hips seem much to wide and the thighs a bit to big to be a "prisoner".

If she was skinnier, maybe. But for now, she's "Girl with boobs #323"
