In the middle of April this year, I sent some originals to Aerethan to be cast after reading about how he did things in the modeling threads on this site.
I sent him money thorugh paypal and my originals with the promise of turnaround in a week or two.

He acknowedged the recipt of the money and items on 4/20/2011, said he would make the mold that day and do the cast over the next week as his job allowed.
On 4-23 he PMed me that he had gotten into a motorcycle accident and it would push back the time he needed to get the job done. I told him no problem, I was in no real hurry.

No communication until I PMed him 3 weeks later asking about his leg and the casts. This is the way it has gone since then, no communication about it unless I asked him a question. I usually left 2-4 weeks between communications since he always came back with 'I will get to them this weekend or next'.

On 11-3 I just asked him to ship me back my originals and the mold and I would take care of getting them cast. I asked for a tracking number when shipped. He said they would go out in the next day or two and that is the last I have heard from him. I have sent multiple PMs that have not been responded to even though I have seen he has been active on this site over the time I sent them.

It is too late to dispute using PayPal, and I'm afraid I will never get my originals back. I assume he has lost them and won't admit it to me.

I can post all the PMs that went back and forth if needed.

As you mention and have no doubt seen, he is still very much active on this site so it would seem odd that he is simultaneously active yet ignoring your PMs. You should PM him once again and direct him to this thread so that he has right of reply.

I Pm'd him this afternoon and am shipping out the items on monday. I apologize that this whole thing didn't work out. I haven't lost or forgotten about your items.

Like I asked Vitki to do, he will PM me monday to verify that I shipped and I will give him a tracking number for the box.

I'm quite sorry about this and will do my best to rectify the situation as soon as possible.

Just to clarify Aerethan- did you return the originals only, the originals with a mold, or the originals with a refund?

I am updating the TR list and am asking for the purpose of knowing how to mark this... if it was only the originals, but perhaps with the intent to refund later, I can also revise the list at a future point in time when this is fully resolved (if it is not upon the receipt of the package by vitki, I could not quite tell from the above).

Excellent! Then as soon as vitki confirms they're received, I'll lock this and mark it resolved.

Yes, received the mold, the originals and one set out of 12 of the casts I ordered.
It is too bad it came to this because the casts are very nice quality.

Go ahead and close the thread.

If I understand you correctly, this has been resolved (if not fully 100%, at least to both parties' satisfaction).

Please PM me if anyone has further information to add.

Locking...
