a friendly game geared list. any tips are wanted.

The Masque

Blue Scribe

8 Daemonettes - chaos icon

5 Pink Horrors - Bolt of tzeentch + Changling + led by Scribe

5 Pink Horrors - Bolt of Tzeentch

2 Fiends of Slaanesh

3 Flamers of Tzeentch

6 Bloodletters

3 Bloodcrushers

Soul Grinder - Phlegm

i tried making the army to be balanced with melee and range.

Group 1: Masque, daemonettes, both horror squads

Group 2: Flamers, Fiends, Soul Grinder, Bloodcrushers, Bloodletters

and advice on splitting up the army is also loved

If its a friendly game, take what you think is cool and will have fun with.

The only real suggestion I've got is that you drop the bluescribes with at least one squad of horrors and drop the Masque with the flamers.

well me and my friends try to be competitive, but we arent tourney style cut throat competitive about it. just trying to actually gain skills before we go past play ourselves.
im just trying to make decent lists is all.

so the list isnt bad then?

thank you for the drop advice!
so have the masque come in second with the flamers group?

Basically, my criticism from a competitive standpoint is that you're trying to do too much. You have as many units at 1000 points that I use at 1850/2000. MSU daemons can work, but needs to have redunancy built in somehow...you really don't have that much redunancy in there.

The list is really scattered. The Daemonettes are too small to do anything and are going to be shot due to the icon.

I think it needs to be more focused, I would recommend 2 grinders if you are taking any.

Soul Grinders are tons of fun, especially in smaller point games.

Alright so i thought it over with what you all said. ive taken out the Khorne elements and the flamers tried to have a better focus on the daemonettes.

The Masque

Blue Scribe

Herald of Slaanesh - Transfixing Gze + Unholy Might

10 Daemonettes - Instrument of Chaos + led by Herald

10 Daemonettes - Instrument of Chaos

5 Pink Horrors - Bolt of Tzeentch + led by Scribe

5 Pink Horrors - Bolt of Tzeentch

2 Fiends of Slaanesh

Soul Grinder - Phlegm

First being dropped is Masque, both daemonette squads, and the herald (in with a squad of daemonettes)

group 2: both horror squads (one being lef by the scribe, the fiends of slaanesh, and the soul grinder

or is that too uneven?

This is better overall. I would lose the Slaanesh Herald and instruments to pump up the Fiend unit a bit more, you are a bit HQ heavy for this point level.

Another option is make those Daemonettes 12-14 strong, otherwise they do not have enough oomph to take down units.

Also, if cost is a concern ($ cost) you can grab 3 boxes of Seekers and they are a passable (Fiends are better but Seekers are still good) substitute for Fiends.

I always weight my waves very heavily. If you do not you get a mediocre unfocused half no matter what which is very consistent, but not particularly powerful.

I would drop in my first wave Grinder (need some room to DS him and it gets crowded) Horrors and Fiends. Ideally the Horrors crack open some transports for the Fiends to eat the insides.

If you end up with your secondary wave, then drop them in terrain our of LoS and go to ground for a few turns. In an objective game this doesn't hurt you much and in a KP based game you can usually stay out of the way enough to make a comeback. especially since you have so few KP compared to most armies.
