I am trying to find somewhere that makes them, preferably plastic, the GW ones aren't bad just very expensive

There is another company, Maidenhead Miniatures, which specialises in Amazons of several varieties. If Tiger-pulled chariots are your thing you will love them.

Some of their figures are NSFW, so beware.

closer to the theme I wanted, the feral elves are neat, work for a different idea though
