Surprise ghost has all the colors to get a kid's birthday party started Nice work on Singh, painting skin often eludes me, but that is nice work!

Thanks! My ghosts are going to be a pretty colourful bunch, if I ever get them finished!

youwashock wrote:Now that he is finished, do we call him Sangh? Surprise ghost is also very cool.

Finished Scarecrow (Twisted):-

Finally managed to get a shot of his face!

Next up, finished prepping the other bit of the submarine:-

Made a real mess of the railings and had to patch them together with big lumps of greenstuff, I'll have to try and make it look less awful when I paint it.

There's also Lady Nurgle:-

I've left off her fringe for now to make it easier to paint things, probably should've done the same with her cat thing.

And King Crybaby:-

I like Malifaux minis, but don't get them too often because they don't seem to mesh well with the way I paint. Even my usual final prep step of white primer and brown wash doesn't really work on them.

King Crybaby? That's awesome! Is there a Hatchet-face?

I'm guessing he's a reference I'm not getting, but as far as I can tell the gang has no Hatchet-faces.

Started getting a bit too hot again, so progress is slowing.

Lady Nurgle is the farthest along:-

But there's still a lot to do.

Crybaby is also getting there:-

I'm quite proud of his bandage-wrapped belly, considering I could barely see the danged things!

I'm also trying to paint a bit more, so Tzandi has returned to the table:-

And she's still covered in oodles of tiny details.

Along with Gladiator:-

Who's a much nicer mini than I originally thought.

Cry-Baby is an old Johnny Depp movie. It's a little odd.

Gladiator looks like she is going to be a beaut!

That Nurgle witch is a spot-on mini for that faction, loving your colors so far! Other stuff is coming along nicely, Gladiator looks no-nonsense.

Thanks guys!

I finished King Crybaby (Malifaux):-

He's come out so-so, but I know I'm not great at Malifaux stuff so I'm not going to worry about it.

Everything else is creeping along:-

Hopefully, I'll have at least one finished by the end of the week.

Is the purple-haired girl standing on a fish? Also, I think this is the first time I realized the KD Gladiator is carrying a lantern halberd. KCB turned out good. I can only imagine how delicate those nails are.

Yes, yes she is (it's actually a mechanical fish).

Woot! More finished stuff!
Lady Nurgle (Warhammer:- Underworlds):-

Super pleased with this one.

And Tzandi (Twisted):-

Also super pleased here too, plus it completes my Monkey set (for now).

Nothing else in the works at the moment. There was, but I made a bit of a mess on one, which triggered a panic attack, so I can't go near them at the mo'. So I've got a clean desk for a change.

Twisted lineup looks super cool. Nice work!

New stuff.
I have a Genie (Reaper):-

Not my best work, but she's surprisingly poorly detailed for her size (and I'm still not great at prepping these Bones Black minis) and that's left me somewhat unenthusiastic about painting her.

A Beastman (Games Workshop):-

Continuing the trend of starting a new Underworlds band instead of actually finishing one. At least he's coming along nicely.

And Harriet the Hat (Guild Ball):-

Fortunately, her hat hides the poor job I did on her eyes.

There's a forth guy too, but I'm planning on entering him in a competition (If I can get painting again, Cold Season has already got me), so he must remain shrouded in mystery for now.

The genie is sort of oddly plain for her size. I dig the color combo you have going, though. She looks like Jasmine swiped a little power from Genie.

Thanks!

Just haven't been in much of a painting mood lately, been making steady progress with the competition mini, but it seemed to be sucking up all my mojo.

Finally managed to get a bit more done to Harriet though:-

And since that went well, I dug into my embarrassingly large Guild Ball backlog, and I've now made a start on Hemlocke:-

Think I'll stick with my Guild Ball stuff for a while.

Harriet is looking pretty nice already, love the color combination.
Really like the beastman from the previous post, hope you find the motivation to finish him and his Warband chums

Thanks! The Beastman is back on the table already, I'm determined to at least finish him before the Direchasm set comes out.

Was determined to finish something and I did!

Harriet the Hat (Guild Ball):-

She does not like being photographed from the front.

Veteran Hemlocke (Guild Ball):-

She's a little rough in places (painting around her snake was a nightmare!), but I'm happy.

I also finished my competition mini, which you will see one day.

So many great looking minis here, love that Lady Nurgle. Her pet is very creepy looking.

Thanks! I Googled 'Stripey Snakes' and looked for something simple yet interesting.

Thanks! It reminded me of one of those weird hairless cats.

Another mini finished, the Beastman Champion (Games Workshop):-

Super pleased with him, just need to actually finish one of these Underworld sets at some point.

Also on the table is the Tin Man:-

He's coming along nicely, but I'm not sold on the colour of his head, may go for a more traditional bone look.

Made in us
Walking Dead Wraithlord

Tin Man looks very cool so far. A more natural color for the skull would be good. Adds to the creepiness.

Thanks! I did change the skull to bone, not sure if it's creepier, but I do like it.

Been fighting a bad cold all week so I'm painting even slower (if that's possible), but I'm making progress.

Tin Man is mostly done:-

Just gotta finish his base.

And I've made a small start to the next Oz gang member, Pascal De Lyon:-

Long way still to go.

I also got my first lot of Etherfields stuff, since the minis were a lot nicer than expected, I started on one:-

This is one of the shapeshifters.

Shapeshifter model is rad! Very cool idea for a mini. Liking Tin Man, still, and the Lyon is quite interesting.

Thanks, that shapeshifter will now give me nightmares
Lion guy is a very cool sculpt, excited for more colors.

Thanks! It's a shame that he's the only Shapeshifter that's mid-change though.

Thanks!

More stuff finished, yay!

Tin Man (Twisted):-

I still struggle to photograph metallics well, but I'm happy with how he looks in hand.

And Shapeshifter 1 (Etherfields):-

Super pleased with this one!
Although I'm sad that I've only just now realised that boardgame minis can be good, I've missed out on so much awesome stuff

Pascal is coming along:-

I'm going for an old-timey uniform kind of look.

And I've picked my next Etherfields mini, Chimera:-

She's a bit on the large side.

That Chimera model is amazing, very much looking forward to what you do with that!

Tried to get Pascal finished this week, but didn't quite manage it:-

He only needs basing now though.

Made decent progress on Chimera:-

Her skin went a little wrong (my second layer of Dwarf Skin/Rosy Flesh was a lot lighter than the first), but she's looking okay so far.

With Pascal almost finished, I started Skefill (Warhammer: Underworlds) today:-

Since I'm well on my way to owning most of the Underworlds teams, I want to concentrate on them for a bit.

Chimera is sweet! Tin man and the shifter turned out awesome.

Excited for the Overlord, have them primed in some box, silently crying, because they get no paint
Pascale looks great, I wouldn't want to stand in front of him, swaying and trying to aim that pistol.

I know how that goes, I also have way too many things in boxes!

Managed to get Pascal AKA The Cowardly Lion (Twisted) finished:-

Definitely one of my more successful attempts at this painting thing. Only got two members of the Oz Gang to go.

Meanwhile, still on the table, Skefill:-

Is getting there, he's also getting harder to photograph.

And the Chimera:-

Is almost done.

Loving your colour picks on Chiemera, really coming along nicely.
