Hard to see the paint job. Almost like the picture is...distorted.

But seriously, great stuff Cap'n. Those are some solid models.

They are so eerie looking with those blank helmets. Love the yellow/blue contrast and the symbol on the head.

Very nice. Do I detect Mike McVey's Eldar gemstones techniques? Either way they've turned out great.

I'm still enjoying seeing all of these classic models, with a classic paint scheme to boot. Very nicely done!

Thank you gobert, Viterbi, and Bellerophon.

Thank you Cap'n Facebeard.
Yes, build out three layers and dot with white.

This was an eBay salvage...wish I had kept the photo of it when it arrived. Missing the arm and Shining Spear. So using the extra arm and sword from a Jetseer kit, and two old Swooping Hawk Exarch wings:

Restored start after priming.

At the point where I am happy (other than little corrections)...although would the outer feathers look better with alternating black ones?

Looks really sharp, love the contrast between the wing tips and the rest of the wing. Great color choices.

Nice work on the Eldar farseer. It's always a good day when I get to quote Monty python

"Remarkable bird the Norwegian Blue. Beautiful Plumage."

Cracking stuff, that farseer looks ace. I think the wings look great as they are.

Farseer looks fab, I don't think its necessary to alternate the wing looks fine by me.

Great Farseer and alternating black wings may make him look like a psychic racing flag, so I would too opt for keeping it

Great mini. I would keep the wings as they are.

The keep the wings as they are wins in a landslide. So just final touch ups and some of the gems getting redone and we have a finished Farseer.

Catch me if you can...I have wings! My finished entry for this months Unofficial Painting Challenge.

Thank you theCrowe, Olthannon, Cap'n Facebeard, and Viterbi.

Next addition is a Warlock on a Jetbike for the Unofficial Monthly Painting Challenge "Force of Nature"

Using the innate Eldar ability to call upon physic powers.

Now since I can only use six pictures I might drop the second to last look down shot.

Thoughts and suggestions welcome.

This one turned out really well, Cap'n. Clean and colorful, with cool details like the sword and helmet markings.

I would actually drop the third picture. The side view on the “not sword” side. (Left elevation or whatever) Although it shows the other side it doesn’t really show me anything painting-wise that the other side hasn’t already shown, whereas I feel the top down view is actually giving me a better impression of the mini overall and most especially the jet bike itself.

And of course, it’s beautiful. The eye on the mask especially is wonderfully crisp and elegant. Really great job. It’ll get a vote from me for sure.

Lovely work CB, I think the blue background gives an added bonus by making the warlock look airborne.
