True, though I figure attendance is way down so chances are what there is is really spread out thin this year compared to normal.

Either that or the news was not interesting enough for people to think it was worth reporting.

Someone mentioned it earlier, but it seems possible the SoB/Tau stuff was meant to be shown off yesterday.
Still, we’ve a fair few to come. Necromunda, WarCry and 40K.

I see them as a return to an older style of Ork. Over the years the "hooligan" style has crept more and more into the 40K and Fantasy/AoS styles of ork/orruk. Orruks are rough, tough but also generally not seen as all that cunning or smart compared to other races.
Kruleboyz I see as a return to those older styles of ork which are cunning, smart and generally well organised and equipped. So it makes sense that they start to appear a little more like the smarter, darker Middle Earth orks that they were originally born from the idea of.

They've been that style for longer than they were ever the other style. I'd hardly say that that style "crept more and more" into the game. It's been there for most of its existence.

I personally prefer the comedic style of orcs backed up with the whimsy of the art by Paul Bonner. These Kruelboyz just seem a bit too evil for me. HOWEVER I do see why other people are loving them. They are wonderful sculpts. I must admit I am tempted by the giant vulture!

Wish they'd post the "generic" kruleboy mount options. I don't want to see more 360 looks of the named characters.
Hoping for some more reveals today. Honestly forgot all about black templars, so I'm not super excited to see them. But Warcry could be very promising

I'd say the Kruleboyz are the most Bonner-esque GW orcs to date.
They also somehow remind me of Ian Miller's work.
As such, I cannot dislike them, even if I wanted to.

Local store owner went last night to preview. He bought the VIP ticket so he go the necron model that is available at the US open series and the nurgling plushie. Gw previewed everything that has been shown on WHC so far. He also got to see an episode of a new show coming. He was told tomorrow's preview will be different reveals.

To be fair, Blood Bowl is obviously not the biggest property they produce, but for my gaming group of close to twenty people, it’s the ONLY one any of us play or care about. For us the reveals are over except for the conversion to Blood Bowl possibilities…

I mean, they're revealing them based on a Yank timezone, because GenCon is an American thing. Perfectly reasonable in context, just a bit annoying for people in Europe.

At least Black Templars. I fear that will be the whole of the thing, but I’m hopeful still for teases of future stuff.

The road map says a new gang is coming in Q4 so will likely be finding out what it is.

Pretty much. If we look at some of the rumors, it's very likely that the Warhammer reveal will be the Black Templar stuff, and if GW is feeling particularly generous they might tease the Custodes v Genestealer Cult box set that was rumored.
Necromunda is likely going to follow the roadmap that was already revealed, so a new gang or upgrade pack.
Warcry is the big mystery. My personal expectation is that it'll be a starter box type reveal with stormcast vs kruleboyz, because clearly we don't have enough of that.
