Subject: Public wedding proposal goes horribly wrong
He should count himself blessed. He could have actually married this person.
-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

Wow I feel sorry for this guy. He did all of this for this one girl. And gets rejected in the public and she freaks. At least you can say Not yet. Do something bigger. You know so you don't kill the mans soul....
From whom are unforgiven we bring the mercy of war.
Putting someone on the spot like that is just asking for drama/issues/problems.
You want to ask someone to marry you do it somewhere nice, not a damn basketball game.
Also, it possibly could be fake. People have been reported to do it ever so often for attention. Not saying one way or another, but the possibility is there.

If they wanted attention, why did she say no? It would be a sexy yes and then a big kiss.
Somewhere nice not a damn basketball game? I wish my dad was that romantic when he proposed to my mom. He did it at a football game, or rather, in front of a television that had one on. Apparently my mom thought he dropped his toothpick when he reached into the couch and handed her the box with the ring inside. He didn't even open it or say anything and kept watching. By then though they were super close and my mom was breathlessly waiting for a proposal so my old man could afford to be a touch sloppy.

Lol, just a touch?
"Hey babe I think one of your friends dropped a ring in the..." "I DO!" "Wat"
My dad said that he proposed after he and my mom had just finished doing something intimate, really raises the bar on my brother's and mine own proposals.
Oh, back in the days when a man could just propose out of the blue and be told yes despite the circumstances. That's what's wrong with today's couples, they do something incredibly romantic for a proposal and start with the bar high already. If you get Shamoo to shoot the ring out of its blow hole into your fiancee's palms, then what are you going to do for your first anniversary?

tough break, just the way she did it too was pretty harsh.

Seems like something you should discuss first.
Popping the question should feel natural for both, so while the actual asking may come at a surprise moment it shouldn't be a shock to either.
I find it entirely unsurprising that Dogma really isn't much of a romantic.
As for the video, I just laughed. A sports venue is hardly a place that inspires anything close to romance for most females more likely the opposite. Especially the second video, poor girl thought she had won a wad of cash, she was clearly disappointed with way at she got instead. Chump
It gladdens me that you don't see this at footy or rugby matches here (I'm prolly wrong )

I think it actually goes "right" perhaps she doesn't love him as much as he imagined xD so it could possibly be her true feeling instead of being "just shy"
no, shes not shy. you can see it in her face. she paused, gave it a serious thought and declined D:

That is just pillow talk!
Mine was awesomelly romantic it wen't a bit like this:
Mrs. PV: "Either you marry me or I'll leave you."
Me: "Errr.... Hmmm... Ok, I'll marry you then."
Like I said, awesomelly romantic stuff!
We're still happily married after 8 years so I think I made the right choice so far.

That's real backbone right there!
I don't suppose she was holding a big hammer over your miniature collection at the time was she?

Proposing at a baseball game is a time-honored tradition this side of the pond.
I suspect it would happen but for the inevitable "getcha Norks out for the lads" chant that would follow any appearance of a female on the big screen here.
I won't regale you with what happened when David Beckhams mrs (posh spice) was first seen at a United game.

The trick, of course, is to get the woman to propose to you. Yes, Frazzled is that awesome.
SWMBO: "Frazzled want some candy?"
Frazzled. "Noog. Candy! Noog!"
SWMBO: "Here put this on and you get some nice candy."
Frazzled: "Noog. Candy! Noog."
(preacher appears)
preacher: "Do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
Frazzled:" Noog?"
