Earliest shipping date at this point is some time in April, unless this was already known to you guys.

On a plus point, the delay is giving me time to paint up my Rausenburg female squads to act as the defence force for the Sledgehammer battery.

Is that correct as I didn't think they specified what was included in each container, I assumed that the late April-May deliveries would be for certain pledge levels containing stuff from the last containers. Do we know what container contains the Big Guns ?

I doubt they're going to start shipping until everything is at Reaper HQ,

to much chance of things going wrong if they have to start breaking things down into orders that don't have X or Y etc

Servitors are a great idea – not only for their general awesomeness – but by their nature they'd suit a plug and play build. By having (say) a mechanical shoulder joint, you can add anything from a claw to carry crates or a mining drill to a tea tray. The concept would also work by replacing the legs with a wall/floor mount – allowing for stationary servitors for roles like being a punkah-wallah, loudhailer, ATM (automatic teller machine-man) etc.

It'd be great to have a vareity of body types, as Yodhrin says. Some burly bodytypes for more physical labour like mining, dredging and combat, and some slighter bodytypes more suited to mobile non-combat roles like being a scribe, reference point or lamp-bearer.

The heads could be equally varied: one set of heads with a mishmash of grotesque mechanical implants for labour use, and another with decadent periwigs or creepy porcelain masks for house-servants...

I've put together a taurox conversion kit and confirm that while the suspension looks good, it is very finicky and lacks solid attachment points. I've had wheels pop off mine twice so far, both times where the "axle" meets the frame of the vehicle. Both times were rear wheels.

If I get another I'll probably modify the taurox's included suspension to some degree and mount the wheels directly to that.

Some space ogres would be pretty cool. There certainly aren't too many of those out there. Might be a tougher market, though.

There's quite a few actually. Scibor does them, Maxmini do them, and Werewoolf miniatures do them. I think there's one or two other places as well.

I think this would be the best way to cover it, then there is a lot of variety for people to work with. The Inq28 crowd would be all over it...

The front set (at least the way I assembled it) had multiple parts attached to the hull, so it's pretty solid. The rear only has the axle the wheel is on, no other suspension bits, so it's one quarter centimeter rod stuck to the hull holding the wheel on.

On the rear set, there's the rounded "belly" bit that attaches to the hull, then the axles attach both to that and the hull, Moustaffa.

Did someone learn the hard lesson that a new skillet is not a proper Valentine's Day gift no matter how much their significant other likes cooking?

Joking aside, take care of your faolan; while we want to see what you and Vic are up to it will certainly keep until that's better.

Hey! My good lady got me a cast iron skillet for last year's St. Valentine's Day!

No jury in the world would convict your wife though; pretty sure in the other direction that's not the case. I really don't advise either of you trying to find out one way or another.

My concussions have all been from particularly bizarre things, so hopefully he did at least get a cool story out of it. They do suck though, far more than any bad gift could.

Nah, she won't kill me - then she would have to do the cooking.

I recently introduced her to her new favorite - goat with yogurt. (To say that she was dubious understates things... then she tried it... then she ate more than I would have believed likely.... She... is a halfling, I think.)

No, she ambushed me with getting the dog's wet collar and harness out of the back (we'd just come back from a slightly rainy beach trip with the pooch) and then turned around and without looking, closed the X-Trail's hatch on the back of my head.

I'm mostly better now, but still don't trust myself to work on things today. Hoping to have a surprise for V by the end of the week, which means surprises for you folks as well!

I'm really surprised nobody jumped on "dinosaur cavalry", I thought it might be cool.

While Rough Riders are cool (a lot of people will no doubt disagree and shriek that cavalry in the far future is stupid), their current rules are spank.

I'm always after something different for a Praetorian Officer/ Social Elite Rough Rider squadron.

I've considered Cold One mounts before but something designed for Vic's cavalry would be better.

Oh, it's also not a case of which ONE wins.. it's a case of finding which ideas have support and then executing them over time.

For that matter, I'm chronically unable to work on only a single project at a time - even during the massive rush to do the Sledgehammer I still had to break and work on other things, hah!

Hi folks,
I've recently arrived in Texas and will be attending GAMA and Adepticon, after 2 days I'm just starting to get over the accursed jetlag. I'm currently at Reaper. As far as it is possible to tell, the BFG Sledgehammers are in the last container that is shipping, which means they will just miss the show No one is more miffed than me
I have a few advance copies, but it would be unfair to backers to have them for sale at the show if fulfillment has not started by then.
I will look into a way for it to be ordered online at the show as I will have on hand some of the awesome upgrade kits Jake has done for it.
The good news is that it is looking very likely that there will be a small first edition run of the Matilda Tank available at Adepticon, I might be able to sort out a pre order and pick up system, if attendees want to reserve a copy.
I was so excited about the Matilda that I made the 2017 Adepticon LE miniature a female Tank Ace. As usual, metal copies will be available at the show, and I will be able to offer 100 copies to Victoria Miniatures online customers who can't get there. I'll update on the mailing list when the sale will happen, it should be in the next few weeks.
Thanks for all the feedback, discussion and input, you folks are the best
