I'm thinking of starting up an IG army, and was looking for some heads to use with the basic Cadian bodies, but after scouring a number of sites looking I am just not finding anything that really captures what I am wanting.

I would like to do find is something similar to the old British Commonwealth helmets from WW2, along with the officer peaked caps. I have found things similar to these, but they tend to almost always have gas masks for the faces. The other thing I was looking for as possibly some Wolseley helmets to use for command squads or stormtroopers as a nod to the military unit that used to be stationed out of my home town.

Examples of what I'm looking for in case anyone is not certain:

Is this what your looking for?

There are peaked caps in a few kits. Theres one in the Company Command Squad. And im pretty sure another in the Leman Russ Battle Tank. I could be wrong though about the tank because the kit has been upgraded since i got my mine so they may have changed it.

Edit: - Just had a quick look. There is definately a peaked cap in Basilisk kit. And another in the Imperial Guard tank accessories pack.

Flattlen them between wax paper. Cut. the shape you need.
Build until you get to the to top.
Then when it dried form the top of the cap.

Check out the separate heads section over a West Wind Productions.

They have a nice selection of various heads, including the helmets you want both with and without the netting at a fair price. The quality is pretty consistent and they are good for customer service.

You say that I am crazy. I say that you are right!

So what stake do you have in West Wind Productions? That was a decent pitch.

Thanks for the input guys. I had never seen the West Wind heads before. Does anyone know how they match up to the Cadian bodies scale wise?

Now I just need to figure out a way to get more of those caps without buying a ton of other sets for 1 hat each time.
