Not where I should be

Not really that big, and yet again, sorry Red, it will be a bit broken.

@ Red, thank you, I am going to go back over most of that terrain. Now I have the juices flowing. Might add a few river sections, though I don't really know how big I need a river to be for this scale.

OK Bit more done on the current distraction.

Theme is "name of the game" and we are meant to use playing pieces, so to start with a slight cop out using playing cards.

Also scored some nasty cheap dominoes, going to see what I come up with them.

And after a couple hours messing about.

Thank you for looking.

That ruin looks nifty so far. Cutting all that card must have been quite the chore.

Impressed I am. Playing cards. A House of Cards* . Very clever Mr. Cam. Or better said, "well played, Mr. PeanutCam, well played." It's a Seinfeld reference.

*I enjoyed the British version with Ian Richardson. Never saw the US version. Same with Traffik. Not a fan of remakes, me.

Thanks guys, much appreciated.

Lined it with card.

Then beat it up and added a "moulding".

Thank you for looking.

Are you going to leave the playing cards as-is? They look like really ugly wallpaper, like my grandmother used to have in her formal dining room.

The playing cards do work well as wall paper, good point guys. Nice job with the molding Cam, your miniature architecture skills are shining again.

Well thank you all for the wonderful comments.

Sorry Josh they are staying. On the inside at least.

And @ Vik, well you know me by now, have to have it done proper.

So started on the "roof"..

And added some of those dominoes for detail to the front.

And started on a staircase I am not sure I will use...

Then I slapped some paint around...

So I guess it is starting to take shape.

Thank you for looking.

Paint works great with the cards. Roof looking great, and you need to use the steps.

Looks ace. Given that you've made the staircase, maybe destroy it and have it collapsed through the building?

i´m totally with you here! it´s because of this tho that building ruins is very hard for me, as i tend to always make only intact buildings because of this...

also...the roof is developing nicely, and i can´t say anything about the marble exterior...that is

especially what you did to the flooring is amazing tho...that nice stain is mouthwatering...looks like honey to be honest big

these kebabsticks you used i have too...was planning on trying to make butresses one day with them, but i like your idea and use way better!!!

the stairs are good looking, but i am unsure about the angle these would create... will it reach the next level? the way you pictured it i can´t tell...

The stairs are intriguing. craft sticks for the treads and strings, and balsa wood to make the risers?
