html 5 is the latest version of html which is the code structure used to build web pages at base level. That sounds like odd behaviour. If you could post a screen shot of the message you get coming up I might be able to help.

Certainly weird. Maybe you should take it back to the store.

I was being polite. I wouldn't want to offend some people's religious views by critisizing Mac ownership.

Well, Mac (and iThing) owners might be able to get Flash now that SJ is dead, after all, he did say "over my dead body"...

Considering it was an issue with firefox I think you're being more offensive via ignorance than insultation.

^ Too late, Adobe has pulled support for iThings because they got tired of Apple's crap and decided to focus on the format conversion/ desktop PC side of things with their latest releases instead of banging their head against a wall trying to make their product work well with Apple, only for their efforts to be thrown back in their face. FP 11 was the last mobile release for the flash player, and it includes graphics card rendering, so can run pretty fast. It's a good point for them to quit and say "screw it" as far as that goes.

As a flash game developer, I can tell you straight-up that html5 is not seeing widespread support or usage in my industry, nobody is interested or making things for it. Also, as tablets and phones get faster processors and technology increases, arbitrarily banning flash because the devices weren't fast enough in the past but are now is going to seem like an increasingly bad decision.

In any case, format is becoming increasingly irrelevant. I can make a flash game, and with about an hour's worth of effort using all the tools Adobe has made over the last 2-3 years, turn that game into a mobile game for Android/ iphone and instead charge lots of money for it instead of giving it away for free on the internet.

So, flash being banned is nothing but a good thing for me, as I can end up with people paying for a game of mine that would otherwise be playable for free online, if only Apple hadn't banned it. Opens up a whole new market. :p

May I refer you to this frm the OP:

so i clicked on it and it said I'm using a trial version and that html5 is supported on firefox. so boom, i get firefox and i'm having the same problem

I was not being ignorant I was reading the original problem.

Also this:

http://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/apple-causes-religious-reaction-in-brains-of-fans-say-neuroscientists/

I was making a quip but seeing as you called me ignorant I thought I should refute your position.
