Yay another of these threads >> anyway wondered if people could recomend some alternative models. I kinda like the existing greatcoated model but would much rather something a bit more unusual, but preferably plastic (easier conversion). Though the greatcoats a must, especialy a sort of flaring look :p

Had a few ideas for henchman. Not a huge fan of them rulewise but love the idea of them (misfits picked up by the inquisitor on his travels). Maybe an Empire maruder converted into a space pirate heh. Probably a "pirated" chimera too. Maybe instead of a joke-ro was thinking something along the lines of a jumpsuited miniature with a wrench....and a converted tau drone covered in guns above (again recomendations. was thinking this: http://www.heresyminiatures.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_16&products_id=111 but no idea what size it is, and as said plastic alternatives are nice.)

For an Argo-Flagelent was thinking perhaps buying a spare genestealer from a friend and converting that as a "pet". The deathcult assassins though again need recomendations for. was thinking something in the style of well greyfox or hakuman (the sort of heavily suited eyeless look), or maybe using another "civilian" model, remodel it midair and maybe wrist mounted chainswords and whatnot (so something like Alisa from tekken :p)

But yeah my aim was to think of models without using th standered fare but getting stuck on models to actually USE.

For Henchmen I'd recommend a browse through the Reaper mini line.
They have some smexy models. I have 5 or so Paladins for Crusaders ^-^

The ringwraiths look good as inquisitors, but are a bit boring for painting. I liked the little robot on the silent spectre website.

Honestly there is so much choice, the empire battle priests, techpriests with more natural parts, sigvald the magnificent with grey knight bits, empire wizards, black templar upgrade sprue. Gamezone miniatures do some really nice stuff.

Where in the world are you? I ship stuff out (usually) the next day after receiving your order (or same day if you order early enough in the morning!), by Royal Mail. Most people who've ordered from me (in the UK) receive their figures in 2-3 days, international orders take longer (obviously!).

Hope that helps!

I only ordered from them once, many years ago, but I don't remember any shipping issues. They are normal 28mm, on the heroic side of things. They certainly look fine next to GW models - I could never figure out if their scale was just very slightly smaller, or it was just because I'd ordered particularly delicate models.
