I won't lie, I'm a little surprised that beast lasted this long.

haha. 40 years. when looked after... the chevy V8 will go forever. i have another one rebuilt and ready to go in. just gonna cost a few bucks to buy the nessesary parts. but it actually is decent on fuel. i pay .79 a liter... propane. and it gets me pretty good milage per dollar. i love the fact i can still put in 50 bucks and get about 70liters of fuel. give or take.... usually the trucks bullet proof, but not tonight i guess Automatically Appended Next Post: plus when you see a 69 camaro goin around or a 70 chevelle or challenger... remember... those are 10 years older then this truck too. when kept in decent condition. they will last. like this truck. that motors been through a lot. but it decided it was wanting to be reclassed as a boat anchor now... and so it shall be haha

Firstly, nice choice on a pickup
Sucks your motor puked on ya. At least its not incredibly hard to swap out motors in older chevy's. My brother the giant is a mechanic, and had a late 90s suburban that had a bad motor, and it took him 4 days to figure out how to take the fether out
