So finally got my first guys painted up and thought I would share. All C & C is welcome

That gold seems well executed. The blue also looks nice and smooth. I would put a wash on that gold to give it some depth though. Also...... when that wash is dry give the tops of the armor where light would hit it a drybrush of gold. To add even more depth. If you can make sure that highlight is lighter in color though not too much.

Yeah definitely a wash of some brown or black to give the gold some more depth. Maybe even some silver highlights on it as well.

The stark light does appear to have killed off the shading a little... The gold is shaded with Devlan Mud, looks much less flat in person.


The bases look good on them. Get your scouts finished!

yeah had an attack of the lazies lol
should have the scouts and tactical squad done in the morning .. will post when done

think the lighting is better here .. you can see that they aren't quite as shiny as they appeared in the first pics

Giganto pics are gigantic.

The scouts look great based, although it looks like we neglected to drill their pistol barrels before you started on them... Still very impressed with the camo.

yeah only noticed the pistols this morning lol ... just call me mr observant :p

The gold looks great! I really like the blue as well. Overall, very nice sceme!
