Long time wargamer (both minis and hex&counter) but after dodging 40k for years I'm in. I was looking for a SF minis game after not playing with any minis for the last couple years so I decided to go with THE science fiction minis game. I don't think I'll have a problem finding players there's 40k all over Dallas. Now that I've posted I'm going to get back to painting my Grey Knights. The minis coming along faster than I thought they would but still a long way to go before I have enough painted to hit the table.

Not too much in the way of miniatures the last couple of years, was playing an air combat game called Check Your 6! before I took a break. Lately it's been hex & counter historical wargames (similar to the old Avalon Hill games) and science fiction/fantasy boardgames. Used to play both Babylon 5 space combat minis games, Victory at Sea, classic Battletech (going way back on that one), a couple CMGs, the FASA Star Trek game, Clan War, and Heavy Gear.
